    I said in the beginning to let every one know what gears you use...NOT which gears is the best..read carefully before you post..I didnt tell i need help for choosing gears, hope you got the ans,and as you were mentioning yourself as an EX-PRO of CS 1.6, may I know your achievements?
    And this is a gear posting thread for CSS, NOT CS 1.6, and IF you are a so called pro you quite know that both these games have different engine thus different gameplay.
    Please read the topic before you post.

    Yes anik vi, 400dpi with large mouse surface for better precision. As in, by practice ur hand will memorize the distance in need's to move a certain distance. For eg. A enemy hits u frm 90'degree angle, u can move ur pointer instantly at his head

    Also, CS players use low reso(less than 800*600), so 400dpi is cool.

    DPI and pad size=personal preference. While large pads do give you a lot of room to work with, with a high sensitivity, you won't be using much of it. If you're comfortable with low DPI like 400 then its fine, but don't use that simply because a good player recommended you to do so.

    And I think its best if you focus more on the mouse rather than the KB, if you can get both at once then great, if not, then get the mouse first.

    shotti kotha bolte gele ki there really isin't anything thats the "best" settings or whatsoever trust me I for had been searching for the best settings for a long time until I realised this hard truth. There are plenty of gears out there deathadders,xai,kinzu,intelli,mx So which is the best ?? the answer is the settings and gears combination that makes you comfortable and you can easily move your crosshair all across your screen without any jitter or ny problems at all and u can just see ur opp and move ur xhair instantly on ur opp.

    shaitan is right lot of pro players in fact most use 400dpi and 800x600 reso. but i talked xL.codE,xL.Xill , void.mother,evo.termi, void.z and plenty of pros asking about their settings and the answer is this what makes them comfortable. so best thing is research about a lil abt gears and then buy a mouse+pad i wud recommend mouse-->pad--->kb . KB isin't as imp as mouse. kb is kinda luxury shotti bolte..

    anyway sry for the offtopic fatality but ei "best" setting eer dhandai onekei confused thake like myself

    anyway um using... Mouse-Razer DeathAdder ,3500Dpi but set a 900dpi and 500hz polling rate
    Mouse pad = 50tk average mousepad , gonna get goliathus soon
    Keyboard= A4 tech slim
    Headphones=Cheap cosonic hp

    This is not off topic DK, this is exactly the kind of tips new players need. Just because someone uses a 20k setup does not mean that he's good/better than you. Get gears you're comfortable with, and don't keep on 'upgrading' them just because a newer version is released. Use them till they wear out completely.

    Completely agreeing with aayman bhaiya. When I just started out with CSS remember akdin shunlam VOID eer members ra gaming mouse use kore, I checked up the prices I was "ZOMG" 4k+ price for gears.. then came a nOOb thought I thought it was the mouse that made their shooting so amazing but guess what I saw with my own eyes Xillian simply using a A4 and taking a Save round AcE clutch in 360 tourney !!

    And the only thing is eita ami shob starters bolbo je first ee A4 tech diye pro hou akdin nijei busba je tomar akhon gears dorkar, and gears kintu at best 25% tomar khela better korbe.. trust me a Xai won't tell you how to deal with pressure nor will it teach you to read ur opps... ar jokhon gears kinben give urself and ur new gears sometime it took me months before i got used to my adder anyway i hope um not shifting the topic too much but really cud not help say this since often dekhi lokjohn gears eer dhandai thake

    and keu jodi razer adder type kisu kinen then buy razer mousepads too they sync really nice

    And this is a gear posting thread for CSS, NOT CS 1.6, and IF you are a so called pro you quite know that both these games have different engine thus different gameplay.
    Please read the topic before you post.
    did you even play the games before? Shaitan knows what he's taking about, no need argue with him on that & since he was an ex XLU player he definitely knows what he speaks.

    I wont steer the thread, but best combination is what you & your hands would feel comfortable with! I used to play better with my X7, & since I shifted to the Adder I cant play like I used to. Even though the Adder is one of the best mouse for CSS, I'm still not used to it ;'(
