    Default Trine 2

Yap, now its officially announced. First one was great. Cant wait for this one too. One of the great physics based platform game ever.

    TRINE 2

Atlus and Frozenbyte officially announced the highly anticipated Trine 2. Featuring physic-based action platforming sequences and online multiplayer, Trine 2 takes all that you loved about Trine and expands on it. This all-new adventure is filled with more action, puzzles, and local and online play, Trine 2 is going be a massive release when it hits in Spring 2011. No platforms have been announced at this time, but they will be revealed later this year.

"The Trine series is a bastion of pure gaming fun," stated Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales for Atlus, "Expanding upon what was considered one of the best cooperative multiplayer experiences in recent memory, Trine 2 introduces online cooperative support for up to three players, dramatically expanding the fun and appeal of the game's spectacularly rich action platforming. In addition, the unique traits and abilities of the three character types in Trine 2 mean more now than ever before, with enhanced skill trees and progression ensuring perfect balance. As a result, the game's new arsenal of thrilling physics-based puzzles delivers just as much challenge and satisfaction for a sole player as for three friends playing together."

Finished Trine today. I'll give it a 9.0 The good sides of this game are many. However, here goes the bad sides (I used Patch 1.04 & played in 'Hard' difficulty, 'Very Hard' has just unlocked) -

    1. Lack of Boss-fights... :/
    2. Some wonky physics & little bugs, but these are forgivable.
    3. Some areas are too much easy thanks to strange checkpoint system, which regenerates health/power bar & other things every time u visit them, u kill a groups of enemies, then visit one of them, then advance... :/
    4. Dunno why... but, the game feels short... :/

However, I'd have gave it a 9.5, if these things are fixed... :/ In a word, A MUST-PLAY GAME FOR EVERYONE.

Man first Portal 2 and now this. Good games just keep on coming. Thanks for the Trailer Pollob Bhai.
    A. Degrading fellow human beings over the internet is the only way for social rejects to feel any sense of empowerment whatsoever

    B. If one party understands something that the other party doesn't, degrading that person leads to an enhanced self-perception of intelligence

    C. The internet is a clear depiction of our natural aggression towards each other as a species, that will undoubtedly wipe itself off the planet at some point in time.

I think most of u guys seen this thing before, but maybe not everyone tried this...

    However, here's the link - http://www.bigdownload.com/games/tri...ew-dawn-patch/

27MB... Includes Trine Patch 1.07 & Path To New Dawn DLC.... I tried it... U'll just have to install it where u've installed Trine, no crack needed.

Some bug(s) may be fixed in this Patch, see the update details, I haven't though... It unlocks a new level, similar to the Last level... The lava starts to get higher in the biggining of the level, will be awesome I think, though I haven't finished it, but the last level was damn good.

But, u'll have to complete the game first to unlock this level, if anyone wants, I can give him/her my savegame, which includes all level unlocked & 'Very Hard' mode unlocked... EVERYONE MUST PLAY THIS GAME, AND EVERYONE MUST DOWNLOAD THIS THING, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

(+) repu 2 Rion. I have kept Trine on my HDD still bcos I loved that game so much.Although I have played & finished it back when it was released. Really man this one is 1 HELL of a 2D Platformer. Time 2 complete the DLC now & I think its the best 2D Platformer available yet for PC. Other GUD 2D games I have played are Bionic Commando:Rearmed & Braid .Thought they were not as GUD as Trine:closedeyes:

Pollob vai, after passing a few days due to laziness, finally finished the DLC in 'Very Hard' mode....

It's a real short DLC, but even tougher than the final level!

    Wink Re: Trine 2

Some great new screensots of Trine 2............

Since Atlus and Finnish developer Frozenbyte revealed Trine 2 back in June things have been pretty quiet.

Until now that is, because Frozenbyte has released a new batch of screenshots for the high-fantasy, physics-based action platformer which you can enjoy below.

Trine 2 will feature the same cast from the original (the knight, thief and wizard) but this time it will also include a co-operative online multiplayer mode (yah!). Up to three players will be able to team up to solve puzzles, slay enemies (including dragons!) and unlock mysteries, either locally or online. Each character will also feature new abilities that players will have to use to solve the puzzles and dispatch enemies.

Trine 2 is scheduled to be released in Spring 2011 via digital distribution. Platforms have yet to be announced, but Frozenbyte has confirmed that the game will be available on the PC in a post made on their official forum. It should also make an appearance on the PS3 since the original made its debut on the PlayStation Network, but we’re unsure about whether it will be released on Xbox Live.
