Mohiuddin, ddr3 has 184 pin connector, ddr4 has 188. how can you possibly put one kind of ram to another kind slot? besides look at the chipset description by intel. until now they only support ddr4.

ATM, Z97 platform +4790K/4770K is best for gaming which beats pretty much all 3 haswell E processor in terms of FPS mostly due to fact that game only started to use full potential of a quad core cpu and most importantly majority of the game is gpu limited. This will remain the same for another 1 year i believe.

1 kothai gaming er jonno akhon x99 kina ta bokami!

I believe that platform is mainly targeted for video rendering or stuffs like that who cant afford a workstation but can spend more than the price of a quadcore i7.
But games should run equally fine on haswell e.

unless you use 3 way sli and/or multiple devices that use pci-e lane. 16 pci-e lane is quite a let down if you have 2 graphics cards, a discrete sound card and have pci-e ssd. you cant run those altogether without sacrificing performance. besides X99 is targeted for HEDT market not gaming market.
