Default Samsung unveils Galaxy Note 4 and Edge

After much speculation Samsung finally has announced their new Galaxy Note 4 Phablets. The Galaxy Note 4 features a better 5.7-inch display in a metal frame, quad high-definition display and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, the improvements are incremental. Samsung also showed a Note with a curved edge screen on one of the phone's sides.
Samsung has packed in a 5.7-inch, 2560×1440 AMOLED. and that boils down to be 515 PPI. The device will launch with Android 4.4. Inside the Phablet you can spot a a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, up from a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 in the Note 3. The Note 4 has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The rear camera has been upgraded from 13MP to 16MP, the front camera has been upgraded from 2.1MP to 3.7MP. The microSD card slot can now take 64GB. The battery capacity is roughly the same at 3220 mAh.

The Note Edge uses a 5.6-inch AMOLED display, total resolution is 2560×1600. The Note Edge's spec sheet is reportedly the same as the Note 4's, which means you're still getting a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 16MP camera, the S Pen, and an SD card slot, though it has a smaller 3000 mAh battery. Combine this slightly smaller battery with the slightly larger screen and it seems likely that the Galaxy Edge's battery life will fall a bit short of the Note 4's.

If the note 4 and edge cost the same, I would choose the edge (subject to me having the money to buy it). I am excited to see what uses for it developers will come up with, since samsung released the SDK for it.

edge will probably cost more. I have to say developer support might be lackluster for it since this is the only device that has this design. Probably in 1 or 2 years ?? Samsung releases a lot of these kind of things and later they disappear.

note 4 finally has a good design. I dont know why they couldnt make Galaxy S5 like that.
