I am planning to buy a new GPU so guys pls help me to choose it in my Budget there is two GPUs R9 280x Sapphire Duel-X or Powercolour from AMD and MSI GTX 770 from Nvidia give some opinion which one should i take. And For GTX 770 i see some ppl using Tharmeltake Smart SE 530w so i will take this and if i buy AMD suggest me a PSU in cheap price and also suggest me which 280x should i take Sapphire Duel-X or Powercolour.

    My Specs is :
    I5 4570
    Asus B85 Mainbord
    8GB Gskill Ram
    500 GB HDD

GTX 770 and R9 280X have similar performance.

I would tend to go for the R9 280X because it has 3GB video memory, the GTX 770 has 2GB video memory. If you get the 4GB version of GTX 770 at R9 280X's price, then go for the GTX 770, otherwise get the 3GB R9 280X.

Though sapphire is a much better known brand , but i have used powercolour's 4850 without problems.

To choose between powercolour and sapphire, inspect the components they used in the card and heat sink and compare when you buy.

    Also
NVIDIA has confirmed that their Kepler CPUs support DX11.1, but The feature level is stuck with DX11_0.

    Not supported DX11_1 features:

    - Target-Independent Rasterization (2D-Rendering)
    - 16xMSAA Rasterization (2D-Rendering)
    - Orthogonal Line Rendering Mode
    - UAV in non-pixel-shader stages
Both the Geforce will and Radeon will support DX12 though.

The fan problem happens when it collects too much dust (if you don't clean it), happened with my friends sapphire Dual X-280X as he never cleaned it.
The fan can be pull opened and greased if it ever becomes dry.
