AMD Game DVR : Say goodbye to FRAPS if you haven't already
Counter to Nvidia Shadowplay- Amd Game DVR beta
performance hit only 4%(officially)
supports 7700 and above
and more importantly, it even supports NVIDIA 600/700 xD. it supports NV SLI,
supports streaming to twitch, which shadowplay does not support yet.
No crossfire support yet
no mantle support yet
my far cry 3 performance was down by more than 6-8%... still LOT LOT better than fraps or other softwares.
in far cry 3 recording in 1080p hit my 280x's performance and i wasnt satisfied playing ultra high with it. but 720p didnt hit performance at all. almost had no clue that it was on.
filesize is 'big' but compared to other solutions its still tiny... 1 minute 1080p 25mbits 60 fps is like 150mb. and 60fps is AWESOME
25mbits is enough and if you have a big huge hard drive you can always increase the bit rate. 15mbits does save a lot of space but it doesnt look that good in 1080p. and again... 60fps videos are awesome, youtube soon will support it
its beta so sometimes it crashes in some games

question- why 30fps video and 60fps video with same length have almost the same data size?
why use fraps or shadowplay or this when u have msi afterburner?
i think u have never used shadowplay or amd gvr
