    Default Slow youtube

I use a 3.5mbps line. i have excellent torrent speed and other download speed. but for somereason, watching videos over yotube is very slow. I use the connection through a router that connects to 3 other computers, but at the moment i am just only using one PC. in DU meter speed check, the download speed increases for other activities, but while only watching youtube, the speed remains at 15 to 20 kilobytes per second. Is there any way to solve this? Thanks

During peak hours, link3's connection gets clogged and transfer rate of a single connection gets much slower (note: most of the web applications establish only one or two connections with the web server, including youtube.). Torrents generally establish around 40-50 connections per download, and download managers like idm uses file segmentation, so they're not affected by this bottleneck. You can use always download the particular video using keepvid or such. Also, a configured firefox might help.
