We should not compare a motherboard of 1953 with a one of 2014. I had to RMA my MSI 945 atleast 3 times back in 2007. Now i cant overlook its Gaming series, can i? Not even a chance.

Biostar may have produced few of the most notorious motherboards in the past but their high end motherboards are of a different level. And ECS has been producing OEM products for long, sure their entry level motherboards may not be as good as some of the more renowned brands out there but you're getting what you're paying for. And also, electronic devices can die on you just like that, I know someone who has a burnt Asus Maximum IV with 2 burnt fan headers which Global is refusing to replace.
