well, a friend of mine is gonna buy GPU @ around tk. 6000..so i need some help 2 find the best GPU at that price...today i went to multyplan..UCC has brought two new cards 5450 and 5550 ( may b new to me!)..also the sapphire version of some existing 5 series cards...below r some of them..

    • Sapphire Ati Radeon 5570 1Gb DDR3 @ Tk 8000
    • Sapphire Ati Radeon 5450 1Gb DDR3 @ Tk 6000
    • Sapphire Ati Radeon 5670 1Gb DDR3 @ Tk 9500
    • Sapphire Ati Radeon 5550 1Gb DDR3 @ Tk 7500
    • Sapphire Ati Radeon 4650 1Gb or 512Mb ( i m not sure) DDR3 @ tk 5500

    i have also found XFX Radeon 4670 1Gb ddr3 @ tk 6200 and Elitegroup 9600 GT 512 Mb DDR3 @ Tk 6500...so i m considering 5450, 5550, 4670 and 9600 GT...9600 GT seems pretty good..but how good is that Elitegroup version?...how about 5450 and 5550? 4670 is stable option...so what do u people think?

    What's the price of 4670 512MB DDR3 ? :S

And, ECS 9600GT 512MB DDR3 @ 6.5k will be an excellent choice if 4670 is overpriced.

Bro i have used both 9600gt and 4670 card. Although my one was xfx 9600 gt & Sapphire Ati 4670 ddr 4 version. From my personal experience 9600 gt will perform better than 4670. ECS 9600gt's cooling is very good.I heard it's temp never goes over 60 degree. And it doesn't need any extra 6pin power connector. So go for ECS 9600 gt.And about the brand - I have already used ECS Gts 250.That was a good card.I think Elitegroup is a good brand.

    go for the 5670, kidding

    5450<5550<4670<9600GT

u can buy the 9600GT, but it requires external power.
    HD4670 doesn't require extra power.

So buy depending on which PSU is he using.. u can run 4670 with a normal psu, but u may need a lightpower or deluxe psu rather than normal ones..
