Default Processor temp goes to 80 degree C !!!

    Assalamu alaikum.

It's really simple. Swap the clips from the fan you bought later with the original cooling fan, and it's fixed!

If budget is not an issue here get a cm hyper 212z or something.
Or u can check if the cooler is properly sitting on the cpu or not.

If he can get the stock cooler to work, which I assume has worked for him all this time, why advice the guy to spend taka 3,000/- on an aftermarket cooler? What's wrong with today's BG folks?

    cant agree more.

@saif do as what @Fox Mulder says in post #2

You won't be able to buy original Intel stock cooler unless someone sells their original stock cooler that came with the cpu. And I see no point in getting a aftermarket cpu cooler if you r not overclokicng. Even the stock cooler can sustain a mild overclock.

What's pathetic, sir, is your inability to grasp logic, and the fact that there maybe solutions other than the ones you think are valid.

Exactly, because the original stock cooler's clips were broken, the extra heat was being built up.

I maybe am in favor of buying a good PSU :v

well to me for a 95W or more TDP processors a 2.8k worth cooler will be nice but that might be illogical to some other way too wise people!

i5 2500 cooled by Gigabyte G power pro! So what happened to the great and mighty stock cooler! Yeah I'm unable to grasp the logic.

I never bought my core i5 with the stock cooler, it never came with one, I got it from someone who was in a hurry to leave the country and sold some of his components so that he could have some money to spend in his hands. Any other questions?

The stock cooler, if it happens to be the REAL deal and not the knock offs that're usually provided these days, are more than capable of dissipating the heat to a reasonable level. If you're someone who has broken a clip while fastening down the cooler then my guess would be that the installation of the cooler was never proper. That's exactly what the case is with OP. Can you even name a program that'll use your processor up to the 95W mark?

no matter if its broken or not temperature stays at 75degree+ which is in my opinion not a good thing. people can spend huge amount of money on KFC chickens and they cant even buy a good cooler which will surely serve him for years to come.

    name "a" program? lol
a very small program "sketch up" burns about 84-85W, 3DS max does the same...
there are more program like this...

I am gonna bother replying to your retardation one last time, and then I will not look to reply any further.

Yes, "Sketch Up" and 3DS MAX can take you up to 85W TDP, I have first hand experience with 3DS MAX as I own a licensed copy of it, and Intel Burn Test can go into the high 90W but that's about it, and the reason why I asked you to name a few programs because I am pretty sure the OP doesn't use them, and I have yet to see a game that breaks the 70W TDP mark.

As for your KFC chicken theory, how many times do I have to mention that the current cooler the OP is using isn't even the original stock cooler but a cheap knock off that was handed to him, and it's not even properly installed, hence his temperatures are going into the high 80s or even 90s. If his case has optimal airflow, and intel has rated the TCASE temerature to be 72.7°C which would be under heavily loaded situations with the stock cooler assuming it's installed properly. BG has become the worst place to look for advice these days, and now I know why.
