Post Fable III on PC - An accidental mistake revealed a Windows version.

Microsoft may have accidentally confirmed a PC version for Lionhead's Fable III, after releasing the box art for the sequel.

Fable III's pretty cover, sporting a big "Only on Xbox 360 & Windows" stamp.

The original Fable of course made its way to PC via The Lost Chapters, but so far where Fable II's concerned mouse and keyboard gamers haven't had a look in.

However, the clever guys at CVG didn't hesitate to contact Microsoft about this 'error'

A company spokesperson told CVG: "We've made no official announcements but please stay tuned." That doesn't sound like a debunk to us...
As you can see the Xbox 360 box for Fable III is set to sport a big "Only on Xbox 360 & Windows" stamp, which more than suggests a PC version for the action RPG and Microsoft's sly hint about it secures the possibility. If you check Fable III's page on Wikipedia you'll see "Microsoft Windows" written in Platform section.Guess that tells us we're going to have Fable III headed on PC soon.

    Hehe... n00b Microsoft.

BTW, if I get a XBOX 360, then I'll play these games first - Halo 3, Alan Wake & Fable 2.

But, I myself liked 'The Lost Chapters' a lot, agreed that Witcher, Oblivion is better, and also liked Fable 2 too (haven't played it though). I really want Fable 2 and 3 to come out for PC.

Fable was the one and only RPG game that I liked and completed .... Oblivion was interesting but after playing for a few days, the game seemed extremely boring to me ...

    IMO -
    1. 'The Witcher' is better than 'Dragon Age: Origins'.
    2. 'Dragon Age: Origins' is better than 'Dark Messiah of Might And Magic'.
    3. 'Dark Messiah of Might And Magic' is better than 'The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion'.
    4. 'The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' is better than 'Fable: The Lost Chapters'.

So IMO, The Witcher > Dragon Age: Origins > Dark Messiah of Might And Magic > The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion > Fable: The Lost Chapters.
