Default PC or Laptop? for Productivity Work, Suggestions PLEASE

hello guys , I need suggestions from you guys,

I am a civil engineer and a survey engineer, most of the time i work on AutoCAD (+Revit, Civil 3D), and occasionally render 3D Design on 3D Studio MAX. The Laptop that i own at my office is ok, but not good for everything that i work on.

As a surveyor, portability is a big issue for me for field work, so i must have a laptop. Yes i could get a workstation laptop, but i like to game sometimes also.

the question is what should i do, buy a new powerful laptop (like stated bellow) or keep the old laptop for site work and get a PC (spec stated bellow also)

If you guys have any suggestions for me (like shading cost on parts or different parts/brand) please don't hesitate to share.

    hay,
i use lenovo laptop came from Switzerland, performance is good. but not as good as desktop.
personally i dont like lappy, desktop is way to go.
this lappy you choose have 6mb cache vs 4820K have 10 mb cache.
If you want performance go for desktop.

To MSI, total no no, bcoz if upgraded by myself ,the warranty is gone. just opening a single screw on the back will void warranty. and no laptop comes with 32gb ram stock, and ordering with 32gb ram is going to be very expensive.

thats why at home i use a alienware m17xR3 , bought it with 8gb ram and 500gb hdd upgraded to 16gd ram and 240gb samsung 840evo+2x1tb hdd (one on odd bay)

MSI gaming laptops can be upgraded, if RAM upgrade is only your issue here. As long as you bring the RAM stick to our authorized partner and ask them to install for you, this wouldn't be a big deal.
Good luck in getting warranty for Alienware if it exists in Bangladesh.
