    i want to buy a PSU(preferably TT smartpower 530w) which at least supports r9 280x..........not too pricy though............my budget is around 5000???anybody willing to sell their PSU?????

    If there is a scope to increase budget by 1.5k...u can go for the new CM gx550w...using it for the past 1 year...no issues since then

    Running a R9 280X on a 530W PSU isn't safe, but that is just my opinion.

    tt smart 530w has a single 12v rail of 450w.....so it can easily run r9 280x..........

    take the SMART SE 530w....its modular, and has 87% efficiency....
    UCC listed price is 5.3k....i hope you will find it around 5.1k in retail shops.....

    don't take tt smart, poor quality... i bought a 750W and it failed within ~8 months, then got another one (brand new) from RMA and it failed few days ago after ~6 months of use. horrible!

    but my second pc has a tt TR2 500W, it has been running over 5+ years with no issue.
