Thread: Some suggetions n complains about dota tournaments n leagues.

  1. #1

Default Some suggetions n complains about dota tournaments n leagues.

If I am not wrong dota league will be held in Uttara,Malibagh n Dhanmondi.
There is lot of problems in pcs of assault game cafe. Their tables n low quality graphics cards n low end pc lowers our gamers performance who r used to use high end pcs .So it is quiet impossible for us to give good performance in tournaments. Before arranging this kind of league
I think organizers should check the pcs of assault n Uttara also.
I hope organizers will understand our criteria of gamers needs.

you said the truth yourself. I too feel very awkward in Asslt. not only their PC config is bad, most head phones are broken. in some PCs it says, "unable to initialize sound". and the keyboard/mouse placement is the worse i have ever seen.

and about gfx card, true, you dont need high end gfx card. even my built-in gfx can handle dota highest @ 1024x768. but i could never set highest even @800x600 in asslt. same for uttara.

This is a dumb comment. I don't feel comfortable while playing in Assault and Uttara. It's not a matter of graphics cards/configurations, it's a thing about being settled in where ever you play.

If you feel you have a problem with the mouse and keyboards, then why not bring your won? About the placement CvP, I don't see that much of a problem, it's just that the peripherals themselves are bad. That's why you have one home match and one away match. You will always have an home-side advatage, and you will always face difficulties away from home, that's wha we call sports, e-sports in this case!

I guess at the end of the day, it's about guts and sportsmanship. The teams that have it will come out on top and the ones who don't will falter. I really think you should find a way to utilize your time better Fuad Bhai instead of dreaming up conspiracies. Btw, I play at Assault with 1028X786, with all graphic-fields set to high and everything turned on. I am a high-end PC user myself, but I will still go and play because I have the balls! At the end of the day, that's all that matters! So stop with your carols and step up if you've got it!

Why pplz of Uttora or Malibagh don go to Dhanmondi ?
Ask every 1 they will tell cause Assault n base got antique/unique/ancients pcs .

Why pplz of Mlaibagh don come to Uttora only reason will be their pcs i think.

Btw, i don know wht types of graphics card have assault i have a mother board 915 gav model with built in 128 agp card it also can be exteded from bios to 256 but it don give better performance.

I ve also ddr3 ati radeon rx800 td256e pci express 256mb graphics card.At least pcs of assault n Uttora shoud have 256 ddr2 graphics card to run DOTA properly.

Now let me tell u about game playing if u have low quality what problem u will face u will not able to control properly with hit based hero or u will not be able to micro with summoner or illusion based hero or tough to use necromanicon item .Its ok if u play in low quality graphics card it is very useful to play with spell based heroes or mass aoe based heroes .After 70 min or 80 min u its impossible to play with poor graphics cards
Btw Tamim talk logically. What do u mean by conspiracy i don no. I m not here to quarrel . I just said to implement better pc in Uttora n Assault. Tamim if u r moderator then i want to tell u 1 thing don abuse pplz or pplz will not come. What type of language is this if u have carols n balzz bla bla etc. Its our duty to invite pplz in bangla gamer dota section n make it popular.
fesa_777 u r r8 (actually it depends where u r used to play ).but good pc will improve your perfomance.
If these thread will closed i will not come to bangla gamer again.

Cryminal, DotA runs perfectly in the Assault PCs. If you have micrmanagement problems, by all means bring your own Keyboards and Mice. hat is solution enough.

Cryminal please respond to this. If you are asking to be playing from home, that cannot be arranged, maybe in the future, when EVERYONE has the internet. Also there's the fact about electricity. We live in a third-world country, so we gotta learn to make the mos of it.

CoD4 runs pretty smoothly on the Assault PCs. I don't see why DotA would create a problem. I honestly don't think what you are getting at. If you want the Cafes being improved, you should send an application/letter to the owners. Ranting away on the forums about this pointless. It is a fact - nobody loves playing away from home, bu you have to. You may know mudd from GG. He had a lot of problems playing in cafes sice he was absent from gaming in cafes for a LONG while. He comes regularly now and he has made himself habituated. Maybe if you have tha much of a problem playing a a cafe, then you should start visiting them more often and practice on those PCs.

And, really ajaira kotha bolar kono maney hoy na. I am a Mod, and everyone would say a good one at that, I trust. It is my duty to moderate this forum which means to keep it civil and to preven stupid things from finding their way on to these boards. Your case is pretty dumb. We have already come to terms that DotA doesn't need high-end gfx, and the cards at the cafes are more than suitable to ensure problem free DotA. If you have a problem with external hardware, you can bring your own Keyboard + Mouse. If you are a crazy person, we will even allow you to bring your own monitor and chair. >_> All the problems put forward has been tended to, now please, make some valid points we need to discuss abou. If you cannot make a valid point, I am afraid I will have to close this. That is my duty as a moderator.

I have never played at the Uttara cafes, but you don't see me whining. I will play one game a home (Assault) and one away (at Uttara). I am not amused at the thought of going to play in unfamiliar territories, but I will go because to is my obligaion - one home and one away. That is what I signed up to.

Do you think I want to leave my Copperhead, my A4 Tech Delux IP-Talky Gaming Keyboard, my nVIDIA 6600 LE, my lush display on my Lovely Samsung LCD and go play at cafes? I don't, but I HAVE to. It is my obligation as a professional DotA Player in Bangladesh.

nVidia 6600 i used 4 years ago. It is quiet good card to run dota.Last match i played in assault was imba. SPikes if jakiro cast a spell it frames . And they r playing with lowest graphics setting .Unable to dodge stun by mirana.
I don know how u guys play in coky pcs.6000 tk is enough to upgrade those pcs i think to run dota properly. Plz cloze this thread i don wan to argue who pplz have no idea about spikes n lags. If u wanna challenge us come in g-arena.Where most of the pplz all over the world plays dota.

    ok cryminal, here goes

first of all, let me clarify something. its not the gfx that is causing the lag, period. and the graphics, some little settings in the graphics applet can be lowered with NO (i repeat, NO. did i say no?) differences in gameplay, and the rest can be set to high, at 1024x768. DotA is very little resource hungry game. So to cap it off, no, its not the graphics card, or the CPU. i think the problems you stated can be for some particular PC's, where all the options are lowered and there are graphical anomalies. its not the same with all the pc's there honestly

the problem lies in the hub colliding, which can be solved with a very high quality switch and better cables. The problem is faced due to the massive number of PC's in assault(how many are there in uttara? just asking, nothing against uttara honestly). that should be solved by picking the best PC's for every game played, i.e the ones which arent known to spike(or do u guys play 2 at once? i dont know..)

and yes, dont whine over how good your dota graphical settings are with your pc, i dont want to brag over my pc (but you can trust me its faster than anyones pc here in these forums, even bd most probably, atleast cpu wise ), and yeah every time i go over to assault, i have ZERO problems with graphical settings, but most options to high, and some little settings to low. problems solved, unless im faced with spikes, which, as i stated above, can be somewhat solved

and theres a home match, and a away match! you do get an advantage on your turf, no? im sure the spikes arent as bad as you can feel when ur playing for liverpool, and 80000 arsenal fans are booing you in their home ground whenever you get the ball. theres always a disadvantage playing away.

happy gaming, and best of luck for the tourney! cheers

Maz, he's even got problems at his own turn! HOGL! Dude, he just likes to be in the spotlight. To be honest, he doesn't get any consider the 5 years or so he plays DotA. You're right it is not due to lags. It runs smooth on my 6 year VIAO - 256 MB RAM and 32 MB GFX. And Cryminal one more thing, how long have you played DotA? Shara jibon ki 6600 chilo? :S

And Cryminal, LAN culture and Internet Play culture. If you cannot play in LAN Centres, that your problem you have failed at a huge part of gaming. Even the best players in the world are forced to go to LAN Centres. So man up and suck it up, and learn to play away from your own PC.
