Angry Is Team Elite RAM any good?

Hey! Help out a sister here,

I;m giving my PC an upgrade so I recently asked a guy to bring me a CORSAIR 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 RAM from abroad. Now, either the guy didn't understand or he intentionally brought a cheaper 16GB RAM, from the brand Team elite.

I tried googling it, but none seems to know much about it.... which makes me think It's not a very good brand. IS it any good? Can I keep it? Or is it SO bad that I should ask him to change, if possible? Or may be sell the team elite and try to put together some money to but a corsair?

Ram timing is far more important than ram brand. If your current one is a 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24-1T, stick with it.

There are two different Team Elite RAM categories. Which one is yours in particular?

You could take a look at this: http://impex.com.bd/product-category/ram/

(If it is of the Xtreme series, keep it)

You don't see it much on review sites because most review sites are based on US/UK where Team primarily does business only in Asia.

As you can see here [ http://banglagamer.com/showthread.ph...M-World-Record ], they do make great memory modules.

You got lifetime replacement warranty on the sticks you bought. So whoever bought that "cheaper" RAM, did you a favor.

RAM doesn't give you any meaningful performance boosts to begin with; reliability matters more (so you don't get bluescreens).
