    Default Old PC SOLD! Please suggest New Gaming PC Config under 2 lakhs!

    My old PC is now sold & I'm going to buy a new one next month (May 2014). Please consider helping me with the best gaming rig I can get under 2 lakhs... Maximum budget is 2.5 lakhs but if I get it under 2 lakhs I can buy an A.C. for my room.

    ALSO PLEASE NOTICE I Already have Corsair Dominator 8GB RAM (I can upgrade it to 16GB anytime), WD 2TB Cavier Black & WD 1TB Cavier Blue HDD, Thermaltake Element V nVidia Edition Casing, Thermaltake 1000W Powersupply (If needed I can upgrade it), Also a Viewsonic 22" LED Monitor. So If absolutely necessary I can upgrade those but I think those will do for now.

    Please try to give products available in Bangladesh & if that is not possible then I can bring anything via amazon but you need to consider it will add 1500tk. per pound (lb.) weight.

    Give me a config that can blast away most benchmarks & play any new games (Watch_Dogs ) with MAX config.

    Thanks to all awesome gamers at BanglaGamer community for help...

    Mobo=Asus maximus VI formula...32.5k
    GPU= Asus Republic of Gamers Poseidon (GTX 780)....69.9k
    [i know its an overkill considering the fact that u can get a msi 780ti for 69k..but i suggested it so that all the components remain ASUS ROG]
    HDD=WD black 1TB...16k(not sure of the price)
    SSD=Samsung 840pro 256GB(199 USD=19900BDT+shipping charge)....128GB(119 USD=11900BDT+shipping)

    If you're thinking about custom watercooling like I have, you are looking to spend atleast 30 grand BDT. Closed Loop systems are about 9-12k or so.

    With that budget, you shouldn't have anything less than a 240/256GB SSD. Doesn't have to be the 840 Pro though, there are more cost effective options.

    Yes, a rig like this deserves an SSD...u will surely like ur games to load faster...specially as more hardware demanding titles are going to be released in years to come.
    Yup the psu is enough to handle ur pc in my opinion.
    Yes all are available except the ssd..and the gpu can be found in www.pcworldrajshahi.com..they provide free shipping to dhaka.

    Wait for haswell refresh. Current 4770k is a pathetic overclocker. The onboard vrm n crap quality Tim are 2 contributing factors. Hence, I don't see any point for high end MB and water cooling solution.

    I just checked the PCRW site, and it says GTX770 is 32k. If that is the case or the price is close to 69k (price of 780) then you should undoubtedly go for 770SLI. No 780 (including ti) will ever be able to match a 770SLI unless you SLI the 780s themselves which would be twice the cost of the 770SLI but not twice the performance.

    You have the budget for it, you will not regret it. My GPUs destroys everything I throw at it. It's been about 1.5 years (I think) and bought them for a price slightly higher than a single 680. Best decision I ever made when it comes to my PC

    Hello Gamers, it took longer than expected for me to cash out from my provident fund but finally got my money. So please help me out with the following:

    1. Please update my future spec if there are any available updates under 2 lakhs
    2. Recommend me a good gaming ups that can put up with my rigs max power
    3. I have a fully air-conditioned room so do I need to go for extreme water cooler? or standard water cooler will be enough? If so, which components would I buy?
    @maheer.dhruba, @aayman, @Rakin7

    I've been in contact with PCWR's Shahriar Vai, who seems to be a decent guy. I will go to Rajshahi myself to bring my products as I've been a victim of damaged goods over courier service transfer. Can anyone of you recommend me to them for few discounts or special price???

    Thank you all for helping me thus far & would love to be backed up my this awesome gaming community...

    It is better to wait and observe how the current haswell platform performs. In case you didn't know haswell has an integrated VRM module on the cpu, called the FIVR(fully integrated voltage regulator) and as far as i know the fivr has some design kinks as a result of which it has been removed in the upcoming skylake platform.

    There aren't any 22 inch monitors that cost 2lacs. 4k displays are just entering the market, it will be a while before they hit affordable price ranges. As for 70inch tv that costs 80k or 40inch one that costs 48k keep in mind you get what you pay for! Those are entry level prices, which means you WILL get a 2nd to 3rd grade MVA edgelit panel at best, as opposed to IPS panels and RGB backlights; all of which translates into lower overall brightness, higher response times(we are talking about 15-24ms range) and lots and lots of backlight bleed.

    Moving onto consoles; any modern pc with an intel ivy bridge i5 or FX 8xxx series cpu paired with a decent GPU will produce equal if not better visual output than a console. On top of that PC has support for Mantle which neither the xbox one or ps4 supports, another setback. Since the consoles have moved onto an x86 hardware platform, all game developers will take that as a baseline, which means all the major titles will be simultanously released for both the pc and the console market. If you compare the visual quality of those games i'm sure the pc will come out as a winner.

    I didn't say that 22 inch monitor costs 2lacs :/
    Pc might have better graphics but developers hate to release games on pc because most will pirate it.So consoles win because of better games.
    If everyone used pc for gaming then i'm sure m$ or sony wouldn't make a console.Besides who cares about graphics when you have fun playing games with friends on xbl

    So your pc can handle 1080p with 60fps?

    I saw that question coming. I was talking about a 200k system, not my old 35k system. I play dota 2 most of the time and my PC is more than capable of running it. Your consoles can't give me dota 2. And I'm happy to be able to play other games occasionally @me dium setting and 720p.

    Anyway, any 60k+ system can give better graphics and fps than consoles.

    lol have a look at warez sites, they host a a large number of pirated console game isos; both pc and console games get pirated in equal numbers and considering the fact that consoles now rely on x86 hardware that piracy figure is bound to rise even higher! If you haven't noticed already multiplayer first debuted on the PC not consoles and is available in most titles. xbox live is available for the pc and the kinect is available too.

    As for the 60fps at 1080P have a look at this:

    Click image for larger version.

Name:	Metro last light.jpg
Views:	13
Size:	98.1 KB
ID:	34106

    All the outlined GPUs are midrange ones at best with average costs of 14-15k, with these GPUs approaching the 60fps mark on a demanding title like metro last light im sure you can see which platform holds more potential.

    P.S. i forgot to outline the R9 270, it falls in the same category.
