this could be a F_PANEL issue, might be there's a shortage in the cables that connect to motherboard's F_Panel.

In most cases it's a Power supply problem so do a try out like change your P.S with your friend's P.S. and see if it restarts. If your PC doesn't restart then you are to certainly change your power supply. However thing problem can stem from other parts of PC.

Another cause would be that your Processor is not getting cool. In other words the Fan that cools your processor is not spinning or not spinning fast enough to cool your Processor.

If changing the Power Supply doesn't work you can give this a try. BTW i am guessing that you already have a UPS because if you don't, then common voltage fluctuation can also cause this problem.

WD bhai my pc doesnt restart it shuts down ..

all the people i've talked to, it seems that the problem is most likely one of following : cpu overheats, psu problem

akhon kotha hoilo what sort of temperatures should my cpu be at? and what happens if it goes above the listed max working temperature (73.3 degrees in my case) ..

secondly psu problem jodi hoy taile pc semi-clean korar por problem koydin er jonno chole gelo keno ... and also psu problem ki load er upor depend kore? because as it is the problem seems to be a result of how much load the pc is under ...

jodi psu problem hoye thake taile oita change korle fixed thats ok .. but jodi cpu overheating problem hoye thake taile ki korte hobe?

    p.s yes i do have a ups

Shut down or restart whatever. Do a try out by changing your P.S for few days then at least you'll know for sure that if its P.S problem or CPU overheat

Your problem could be either excess CPU temp or Worn out PSU.

i would say check ur CPU temp first with a cpu LOAD test software like prime95 (use google).

If u see the temp is ok while running prime95 then try to change ur PSU. (use HWmonitor for temp monitoring & n mention ur cpu model)

the caps around the cpu mosfets can go bad somtimes if its a old motherboard and shows off same type of symtomp like urs.

Do try the first 2 tests n post ur feedback.

    thanks for all your feedback,

but i think i've found the problem (its rather silly) ... the fan of my psu doesnt seem to working correctly ... kalke check kore dekhi completely off and bari buri diya chalu korlam ... er por dekhi cpu temp o kome ashche and pc o bondho hoy nai although the fan stops after a while.. so i guess that is the problem .. ajke arekta psu lagabo and hopefully the problem will be solved
