    Default [Suggestion] CPU/MOBO/RAM

    Budget 430USD

Suggest a Intel and a AMD setup ..

I saw Guru3d review of Amd Phenom II x6 @ 2.8Ghz which is 210$ at Newegg

Its quite cool as its faster than i5 750 in most case but in game(high reso) most are the same..So i might give AMD a try =)

Therefore suggest Mobo(AMD 800 series) and Ram for the AMD setup(220$), and yes products will be brought from abroad...TY!

in the days of K6 2 AMD at least had a decent share in low cost PC sales in BD.then their k6 3 was not that a big success as far as i remember in BD.but their Athlon and duron did quite well in BD market.

now they are making great quad core processor like phenom 2 955,965 and now they release/released(?) 6 core processor(Amd Phenom II x6 @ 2.8Ghz which is 210$ ) and no BD pc sellers want to bring these great products.i think that processor is much more better value and future proof with 6 cores than I5 750.still Bd vendors won't bring AMD products.

Really ? Buying above 1333 doesn't offers good bang for the buck.

off course they are. when i said GPU & CPU performance, then i mean their will be a boost. but not that much. it's like DDR2 800 & DDR2 1066!! btw price diff between 1333 & 1600 is not that much now. it will be max 1.5-2K max(off course in same brand)
but it will do the hell of a job if u do OC your system.

Well, same here too. DDR2 800 is similar to DDR2 1066, performance wise.

And, I don't know about OCed performance.
