I Know @Mr. Orange posted it, but this deserves it's own thread

    So, mantle deadened?

    - - - Updated - - -

Some benches by TH but they didn't mention minimum FPS, users at G3D are reporting 10-20FPS increase in various DX11 games like Metro, BF4 (especially MP), Hitman, TR etc.

It will benefit all DX11 GPUs in DX11 games (although DX10 is showing improvements as well) including 500 and 600 series. Figures will be different though.

Added G3D SLI benches. Why aren't these journalists focusing on minimum FPS...

Finally a proper bench. And as expected, it verifies Nvidia's claims.

I just played Titanfall and even though it's not mentioned anywhere, the game has massive improvements. The game doesn't support SLI yet and I couldn't maintain 60fps with 2xMSAA, now its smooth 60fps with 60-80% GPU usage.

About to jump into BF4, but I already know that'll be better too

This is the way improvements should be; not thru exclusive limited features like mantle.
The abuse of greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power.

I still give props to them for making nvidia do this, but I can't help but feel that AMD too could've done a driver level improvement rather than an "open" Mantle API.

some people are conscious about the quality, they are saying its gonna bleed quality to achieve performance
