    Default Help !!!

    Hi Guys.
    I'm new at this so i don't know much about posting these things.anyways.I have a Intel Pentium Dual Core E5500 ( 2.8) Ghz PC with 4GB of Ram and a Sapphire Radeon R7 240 GPU.okay,enough of the specs now lets get to the point.

    When I First Bought this PC I used to have a Nvidia GT 520 GPU. But then its fan got burned so I changed My GPU. But the Problem is, Earlier I used to play my games pretty smoothly with 1400 X 900 Resolution with Medium Texture.But Now, I Can't even play most of the games smoothly with lowest Graphics and 800 X 600 resolution.Now Most of you will wonder if its these new games released last year. No,thats not it.I played Spec Ops the Line , Inversion , COD MW3 and many other games in medium resolution pretty smoothly with my previous gpu. But now,its all fu***d up.
    I bought this gpu last month and those who doesn't know, R7 and R9 are the latest Radeon gpu series,so its not my graphics card which is bad.So My Question is :

    * Is it my processor ? but the shopkeepers told me that its good and Motherboard condition is also good. my Ram is new, I have a good gpu,then what's the problem ? if it was since the begining then i might have understood but its the same pc and the same games which I played with my last GPU with High graphics which doesn't even run smoothly in optimal settings.

    I Don't know if u guys had understood what i meant but plz could anyone tell me why is this happening ? And what can I do ?

    P:S: I Have thoughts on Changing my Processor but it won't happen within the next few months,So I need to know what Can I do to play games smoothly in this pc of mine.

    * check all the temperatures
    * check power supply
    * check if proper driver is installed
    * check HDD for error
    * install a fresh copy of windows.

    u can check the card in any other system.

    this is calls bottleneck, in bottlenecking a gpu cant give its full power because the cpu cant support it properly as a result no matter how fast the gpu is, it will still lag, now the solution is change the processor with latest one (i5 would be best) and then run any game you want and it will never lag for you
