    Lightbulb Mindless gaming... no way

    Story very important and drives certain games especially first person shooters into glory. Imagine the EPIC Half Life without a storyline. No thank you sir. Mindless violence and carnage not for me. Rather have the game and the story side by side.

    Gameplay > Plot in general but a game with a great story but average/generic gameplay is probably more memorable than a game with good gameplay and meh story.

    story is obviously important but gameplay and graphics are also important to me.

    a perfect harmony between these three means playable to me.

    a good story with a shitty gameplay and graphics, not that interested.

    Now a days, games have shitty story. I remember I fell in love with games when I played MAFIA...the story glued me hours after hours.

    to me story means a lot !

    AC সিরিজ কিন্তু খেলতে তেমন কোন স্কিল্ল লাগে না। সবাই story এর জন্যই খেলে......

    Story is really important for REAL games. IF not, they're just repetitive casual games played in mobile with no actual end and is very possible cause for addiction. Just look at Candy Crash!

    Story is as important to me as graphics and gameplay, but I just realized I liked some games because of their script-writing and voice-acting even though they had crappy story. Bulletstorm comes to mind.

    I won't play a game if it doesn't have a good story. Graphics quality is not a priority but a good control system is one.
    I believe a great story can take a crappy game a long way. Recently I have noticed that most of the games are story less or have same 'ol stories used over and over again like most of the new movies. I mostly prefer adventure games from small studies because they see a good story as their positive where as top studio releases are mostly alien attack/world apocalypse nonsense thrown in with shoot this and that and win-win.

    Since I am spending both my money and valuable time(most expensive) I want a good story. The control must be usable, I won't play a game that has 50 different functions mapped to hundreds of key combinations. So yes, my judgement is [Good Story->Good Control System->Human level Difficulty->Graphics].

    Gameplay->Graphics->Story
    Not surprisingly, I found that games with good gameplay and graphics rarely have bad story(I play mostly RPGs, so I know little about mindless shooters)
    In most of the games I skip the movie clips if possible, and skip dialogue boxes once I read the subtitle.
