clearly that one was a fake, altho i was promised otherwise by the salesman.i was given option to choose bw three different qualities(?), and i bought the most expensive one..
a previous controller of mine had lasted almost 3 years without issues..cant remember where i got it from
hence my post wanting to buy an original one. for real this time.

You can't find original wired controller in BD. I bought one about 1 year ago from Shimanto Square and after 1 week I noticed that its a replica and I sold it. You can try with Amazon.co.bd which is a facebook group. They can bring original one for you from amazon or newegg but it will cost you around 4000tk or if you have relatives in the US or UK then you can get original. Otherwise forget about original one. You can search in cellbazaar, bikroy etc if you can find one. But it's too tough to find one.....

If U just want something very durable .. Go for Logitech f710 (wireless/4400 tk) or f310 (wired/2000 tk)

I am using a Logitech F310, very good. Or you can try the Razer ones, they are shaped more like 360 controller.

logitech are not durable at all after using 1 year and when the date expired it just started to show its true nature, cant be detected in desktop and sometimes button doesn't work. the best option is xbox 360 original controllers. some of my friends brought them from amazon via fuad vai and he took 3500 taka and the experience with the keys are much better than logitech one and xbox 360 controllers build quality is better than any other controllers and they have better lifespan, if you can do that much hassle as the shipping will take time and you have to wait 2-3 weeks then take the original xbox 360 controller

I know Computer Source gives 1 year warranty... but I was talking about Logitech, they gives 3 years warranty, mentioned on the box and their website. If their product is so terrible, why would they give 3 years warranty... that was my point.

vai just ask couple of people more then you will find that, most of the people has suffered from this issues and about the warranty things, how many people will ask logitech directly to claim the warranty where's the importer already mentioned they cant give any further support more than 1 year? afterall we get logitech products directly from cs

it's normal for BD importers to give less warranty because they don't want to take the hassle, for example, my Tt PSU has 5 years warranty (written on the box and Tt website), but UCC gave me only 1 year warranty... it's not Tt's fault that UCC is giving me only 1 year warranty instead of 5.

The warranty period usually gives you an idea about how long a device is supposed to run. But sometimes you can have bad lucks.
