    Default Graphics Card Advice

    I recently replaced my old 9800gt 1GB with GTS250 650m Core Edition 1GB from UCC...my GT probably got dead due to the heat...rivatuner showed a temp of 70c-72c with casing on...so i am a lot afraid about using the GTS since i didnt get any warranty as it was over last month for thr GT and they said they wont provide extra warranty for replacement....anyway, amar ekhon dine game khelteo vhoy lage..so could anyone plz advice or suggest on how i could run it jate aro beshidin last kore ???

    always set the fan speed to atleast 90% and try not to overclock your gpu in this crappy summer!!!

    use msi after burner...........amar ager gpu o gese probably heat er karone.........after burner e fan speed set kore den.................amar fan ei vabe set kora:
    heat-50c fan-60%
    heat-60c fan-70%

    ei vabe 100% por jonto upto 90c

    apner ta downclock kora gts 250...so mone hoy na heat prob korbe

    btw my idle temp is 50~55c.avg 52c

    i am using ATI RADEON 4770HD. playing all the games with HIGH/ULTRA. i got fan speed controller with my GPU driver software :/catalyst 10.3/ got no problem.
    Nvidia needs more power and Cooler fan! i used a 8600GT. that was a bad gfx. pc got restart time after time. so i got annoyed and get to ATI.

    i had a gtx 260 and it was hot as hell, so i always used manual fan control(riva tuner) upto 90% to kept it cool. remember nvidia's fan are not as loud as in ati's. i'm currently using only 51% fan speed(3450 rpm) in my sapphire 5870 to keep it cool(38c idle, 65c load). but my gpu's fan get very loud if I set beyond 55%

    it doesn't hurd the gfx card......100% e chalaileo minimum 5 year tikbe ......ei bhabei fan banay..........only reason to downclock the fan speed is to lower the noise.........
