Styx: Master of Shadows, an infiltration game with RPG elements, has been announced by Cyanide Studio.
Styx is a Goblin two centuries old who is a master of stealth, theft, and murder. In the game, players control the goblin as he enters the miles-high Tower of Akenash, where humans and elves protect the Tree, a source of the Amber.
The odd fellow seeks to gain access to the Tree to gather the amber and discover more about his true origins along the way.
Players will be tasked with numerous missions with various objectives as they climb each level, They will also perform information recovery, steal precious artifacts and reconstruct the puzzle that provides the key to the mystery of their origins.
The levels are open and the objectives can be completed in various ways, and enemies range from the aforementioned elves and humans to huge Orcs and other off creatures.
Styx: Master of Shadows is in development for PC and scheduled for a 2014 release.

Focus Home Interactive announced today that Styx: Master of Shadows will be releasing this October for PC, Xbox One and PS4. In addition, the publisher has released a new gameplay trailer for it that illustrates some of the Goblin’s skills, as he uses his stealth, weaponry, bold moves and smart use of the environment to get rid of the tower’s denizens.
