BG IRC Client

All staffs/mods are requested to download this.

Here's what you need to do step by step (one time only):

1. Extract to anywhere (best place is where you install your softwares)
2. run the mirc.reg file
3. right click mirc_upp.exe, select copy
4. go to start menu > (all) programs > starup > open the folder starup by double clicking it
5. right click > paste shortcut
6. Now run mirc_upp.exe
7. enter your name, email, and desired nick
8. click connect
9. once connected and in banglagamer channel:
10. right click on banglagamer channel window > services > nickserv > register
11. enter your password and email
12. check your email, copy and paste the verification code given there
13. right click on banglagamer channel window > services > nick control > add nick
14. type your nick, type your pass, hit ok
15. now click UPP (in menubar) > control panel > back up > add > type a unique comment > click create now
16. exit mirc and start it again.
17. it should automatically connect, join and identify you.
    From now on, you wont have to do anything to connect to IRC. Everything will be automated.

If you ever find any problems with the settings, go to back up and select the backup you made, load.
it will fix all problems.


Note: at step 10, if your nick is already taken by someone else, you wont be able to complete step 10.
and your nick will change to Guestxxxxx.
If that happens, just type /nick a_new_desired_nickname and try again from step 10.

Note: at step 11, do not use your forum pass. use something different.

everything except irc can be bandwidth/memory hog at times.
also, irc works very well from mobile too (really useful for these 2 hour session load shedding!).
just use it for a few days. i'm sure you will like it.

btw, did you have any problems following the steps i mentioned?

when you close it in windows 7, do you get a this program didn't work correctly (a msg about agent dll)?
if you select "worked correctly", does the msg come again when you close it again?

I need to know if everything is working properly or not.
If so, will move it in public forum.

that is equivalent to not joining.
just keep it minimized to tray. it doesn't take much memory and bandwidth.

btw, it will use much less memory if you are ram-constrained.
