if money isn't the factor then go for Dell 19" or 20"(if available)
don't go for LG or Samsung
Viewsonic is infamous for its top and bottom noticeable Backlight Bleeding (AFAIRead)
if u can live with it then Viewsonic is also an option

hmm.. viewsonic somporke idea nai,, and samsung bhalo hobe na coz only 1year warranty..

but what's the prob with LG ? ... LG 2043T 20" LCD Wide 1600x900 DVI (@ 9,700/- I guess) is a nice offer, in fact the best offer under 10k. But, I suggested HP Pavilion 1859m 18.5" LCD Wide 1366x768 DVI (@ 8,500/-) coz some people like me can't afford to run big resolutions. but note, all of them are TN panels... but you can't expect IPS's quality in TN's. but IPS paite hoile abar big resolution e jaite hoi

The cheapest way to get a non-TN panel would be to get the AOC F22 22" monitor. Ive heard it was 12,000 in ryans a few weeks back, dunno how much it is now but still the cheapest among non-TN panels in BD AFAIK

Mazhar bhai...i personally tested the f22s in BD...they have better horizontal viewing angle...but almost as horrible vertical viewing angle as TN panels...cant comment if its 8bit or 6bit though...cause in IDB show floor....almost couldnt see the difference....but probably better than a TN...

And Viewsonic uses 6bit rfc panels....so they shld be very good too...

AFAIR the AOC F22 uses a 8bit panel. About viewing angles, to be honest the horizontal angle matters more IMO, since the screen is much wider so the loss of colours on the horizontal edges seem more prominent, but to each his own
