    Default External/Portable Hard Disk Buying help

    i need an Ext. HDD ASAP...which one will serve me best?
    my requirements are 1TB, USB 3.0, long life, warranty
    and my budget is ~6k but can be increased a little

    i've seen the following and dont know how good/bad they are as i have no idea about EHDD

    yeah DO NOT BUY TRANSCEND. I have already replaced my 500 gb external hdd twice with the cost of my movies and tv-series collection....now unfortunately i will have to do it again because there is this screaming sound inside the HDD...........
