Default Building a new PC, suggestion neeed

    Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy a new PC within 60,000. I need it for software development, graphics design, video rendering (not high end). I'm not a pro gamer. But obviously don't like to have any lagging in work .

Some rough sketches of my plan:
    • Processor: core i5 4th generation (4570 may be)
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte
    • Monitor: 21.5" (better color output is necessary)
    • Ram: 4 GB (for now, upgrade later)
    • HDD: 750+ GB
    • GPU: minimum/ no for now, upgrade later
    • PSU: Corsair (any other option?)

Please give some suggestion for full setup. Thanks in advance.

Processor : OK. (for video rendering u might consider piledriver too, heard there are some patches available for AMD processors now)
    Motherboard : Gigabyte B85.
    Monitor: Asus IPS
RAM : At least take 8GB
    HDD : WD Black/Blue 1TB
GPU : You can add that later.
PSU : plan your GPU and then take one. you can take a 630W TT Smart Semi modular for now. its capable of handling most GPUs

I'd suggest you to go for AMD setup. You'll get better performance in video rendering / compiling.

u are renderer? u must buy overclockable 4th gen i7 and a cooler and overclock it.. also 16gb or 8gb 1600mhz ram. try ssd it doesnt help in gaming but will help a lot in ur work

Thanks for the info... but not interested to go to AMD just because of brand reason (I know this is not a good reason and AMD is good in performance, still ) ... anyway high quality video rendering isn't my main concern and hopefully Intel setup can perform up to my expectation

No I'm not a renderer. i7 is too costly for me. What's about the i5 4570 3.2 GHz? Isn't it a good processor? this is within my budget and I found, i7 is preferable for video rendering or high end gaming, but I'm not concerned about those.

Surely I've plan to upgrade my ram and add a SSD in future. Thanks for the suggestion.

    I'll look for 4670k if that's available.
My budget was 60k, but already increased that to 65k, so if I'm going for i7, it'll become 75k so, not interested

okay... u are not a renderer? maybe i am misinformed. so what is your occupation exactly?

so here are my 2 configs- one for render and another for graphic design

    cfg-1

    rendering+ light graphic designing-

Intel i7 4770k ~27k [ i cant tell its availability at this moment, crysis going on]

    z87 11k
Ram: i think cors vengi 1600 8gb can be found for 6.5-7k
    HDD: 500gb ~4k
    Monitor: asus vx 229 21" 16k

    (64k)

PSU: corsair cx600 ... price probably 6.5k. if u wanna invest in psu Corsair tx na hx 650 ase oida- ~9k mone hoy.( i know its much overkill )

ultra total: 71k. with 1tb hdd it would be 74k

    cfg 2

asus mx 239 ips. 26k MONITOR IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART HERE. i am not a monitor expert but i even recommend importing a good dell/ asus monitor from abroad at 30-35k if u are gfx dsgnr. i found out there is color difference between monitor to monitor and its significant for gfx dsnr.

vn 224 one is 1ms but i think its little worse than mx239 buddhijibi ra etar upor alokpat korle bhalo hoy.

try getting oc version of haswell i5 18k
85 mobo 8k (talk to mobo expert and make sure it has 2 pciE x16 slots)
    rest like cfg 1.

    total: 69k, replace 500gb with 1tb- 71k

FAQ: where the hell is the cooler furious?
u dont need it right now as u r not ocing . buy it later with ~5k

y u always suggest something outa budget furious?
bcoz i blv in overkill when i am not the guy whose buying . u gonna earn money by this config y no invest?

    y would i choose cfg2 over cfg1?
coz this is for graphic designing. monitor is the most important, then processor.

    comment: upgrade ssd later

    thread hijackin:
u guys know i always try to make you lose ur money by telling u ultapalta configs... so its time to help me, here is my thread.. answer the 2nd question if u can

u are renderer? u must buy overclockable 4th gen i7 and a cooler and overclock it.. also 16gb or 8gb 1600mhz ram. try ssd it doesnt help in gaming but will help a lot in ur work
yes it was B75, typing mistake bro, there is something called budget. i5 4670k has only 4cores and 3770/4770 has 4cores with hyper threading as far as i know that helps in rendering. a i5 4670k gives u same performance as 4670(non k) if u don't over clock it.a k series processor requires a z77/z87 mobo which is a little bit expensive than others and u MUST require a Decent cooler to overclock it which costs u extra money.
