Question Full Plexi Side Panel Mod

Okay i was wondering... I really want to get rid of this ugly side panel from my old all steel case. now, i think it will be pretty tough cutting it and modding it. Now i was thinking, how about a full side panel made from plexi glass? any thoughts on this? it wouldnt matter if the HDD/ODD drive bays can be seen, but LED modding on this case with the ugly panel is a waste. So can anyone help me?

btw, where can i buy the plexi glass? whats the price? my side panel is roughly 15.5 inch X 17.5 inch.

Go to nobabpur.....ull get everything u could possibly think of.....u just need a lot of time and patience.

as 4 Plexi glass ull see several shops down there..... usually the price should be within 150 taka. Then again it depends on thickness and the most of the time they

sell on per Square feet. just go there roam around ull get the hang of it..

i have recently done this. u can find plexies in Cataban (near Nilkhet).
there 1 square feet is roughly tk120 (3mm thick) i used 3mm, cause there is a 200mm fan in my side panel.
u can use 2mm also if there is no fan present.
i will add a pic as soon as possible.

it is quite easy job. u need to take your side panel and they will do every thing .
and cost will be nearly 500.

the most important thing is that u get a pure pleasure from this cause as i can say that no one has a case like me .
thats the point why people want to mod.

if u need anything more plz ask.

    yes it's from space.

there are two things i have done.

one is changing the metal plate with a plexi.
this was easy, just remove everything from the metal plate by unscrewing them, then you get a plane metal plate with some holes in it . (if you don't have a fan or a thermal chamber in your side panel then its not needed).
take that to any hardware shop in katabon (who sells plexi of course!) the can make a carbon copy with a transparent plexi. i went to a shop named বন্যা hardware.
so you got a plexi plate instead of the metal one and then just by screwing everything back you will get a full plexi side panel, just remember to use larger screws cause your side panel will gain some additional thickness that time.
now for attachment, your previous panel uses a slide lock which is not so useful in this case i think , so you can use some screw which can be fitted through the holes of the slide lock and then attach the plexi with nuts.(back screwing) for more see the pic closely.then you have got what you want.

if you have my case then the fan has a regulator which gives me a lot of pain! you can just leave it cause without it the fan will run at its max speed which is needed in this country. so don't even think twice to remove it!
but you have a serious problem (like me) then you also can replace it in your plexi case. for that you will need a clear mechanical drawing of the regulator mounting that you have to make from a mechanical shop or some pain full time while you tell the person what to do! then to set it in the case is the actual challenge. so best if you leave it.

and the modification is done without any alteration so if you need you can always get your previous casing back .(i don't think you will need to do that!).
if you need any more info plz ask.
