Default Will my PSU support these Cards?

    Hey,
Is there any way to check what my PSU is, and if they will support a NVIDIA 9500GT or a 9600GT?
I use the built-in PSU that came with my 'Perfect Casing'. Is there any way to confirm if the card will run after I get it?

I'll be getting any one of those cards soon, depending on which one runs with my PSU. I've been told by a friend that the 9500 will run perfectly on the built-in PSU's but I'm interested to know if the 9600 can run on my PC without getting a new PSU.

I'm trying to get a NVIDIA card since its known for its stability. Will the 9500 create problems? or an ATI 4650 1GB?

    Amar Budget

    GPU - Tk.6500
    PSU - Tk.2500

I want to run 9600... But if it cant run on the PSU, I can consider a cheap PSU + 46 card...

    fahim vai, I think buying Radeon 4830 @ 8.5k over Radeon 4670 512MB DDR3 @ 5.3k doesn't offer that performance boost for the (8.5-5.3) = 3.2k money.

and, will the Delux 400W PSU be able to handle the 4830 ? I'm confused here.

Buying the 1GB version of Radeon 4670 is completely useless. :zz:

and also 2 questions 2 u, which monitor u use ? and in which resolution u play ?

ok, edited my suggession, here is the final -

    ECS GeForce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 @ 6,000/-
    Delta 450W @ 3,600/-
    _______________________________________
Total = 9,600/- which is 600/- extra than your maximum budget.

but listen, Delta is a well-known and their 450W is better than Thermaltake TR2 420W @ 4,200/-. Delta 450W can even handle a 45nm Quad-Core + GeForce GTX 275 if u do not OC. So, I'll strongly suggest to get this PSU by investing extra 600/-. u won't regret it, trust me.

Just when I was starting to consider the Radeon 4670 512MB + Deluxe 450W Combo..
And I'll be getting a new monitor too, most prolly a LG Flatron 19"Wide. So I guess I'll be playing at a bit higher res.

Gonna be ordering the stuff tomorrow.

U will not see that much performance boost over 4670 with 4830 but its not very close. And dont forget about 4830 is oc monster. By oc u can come close to 4850s performance. As he mentioned he has a total budget of 9k thats why i suggested him that. A deluxe 400w psu can handle 4830. One of my friend is using 4850 with this psu. So 4830 is not a big deal.

    For secondary use: E2160 OC @2.2Ghz| Gigabyte 945GCMX| 1.5GB DDR2| Thermaltake 400w| Intel GMA 950

Who said ATI cards are unstable anyway???
Go for 4670 or something, save some electricity and fight load-shedding ... like a nice citizen.

woah Flame...if it's only to 1k, definitely go for the 4830...I own one & it plays all my games [email protected] 1280x1024 =) but then the PSU gets a bit weak...Rion's suggestion is good too: either way HD4670 or 9600GT performs very close, but the Delta PSU seems a good deal ^_^

    Okay, so...
I'll be getting HD4670 512MB and the Delux 450W PSU for now. If this PSU creates problems, then I'll get the Delta PSU.

    Thanks for the help guys!

nah dont take the Delux, go straight for the Delta...your budget allows the Delta, right? the Delux is trivial in your case you would be wasting...rather get the Delta & choose between the GPUs
