Default Shure SRH 440 Studio headphones + ASUS Xonar DX

Purchased 2 months ago, I am only selling these since I want to try out a new pair of Studio headphones. Its not because im dissatisfied, im extremely pleased with them, its simply because I want to test another pair..

Not that these headphones absolutely need the Xonar to sound good, they will be fine with the integrated audio in the motherboards, but its recommended that a discrete sound card is used to drive the headphones properly, hence im selling the Xonar DX too..

Condition is almost new, with no scratches, marks anything. Comes with box + Everything else. Warranty is UK only, and I am aware of that so no need to spam it repeatedly in the thread

    Price:
    Shure SRH 440: 7,500
    ASUS Xonar DX: 5,500

Prices are more or less fixed, but if youre interested then do let me know your best offer. For reference retail prices, the xonar usually retails for about $90 and the headphones $100 without tax and shipping in the USA. Even though I have bought it from UK, I am giving USA prices since people say UK prices are always high, etc. UK prices are usually £60 for the xonar and £80 for the SRH 440 without shipping.

The headphones are perfectly fine for gaming, except that there is no positional audio since its a 2 channel headphone (and music sounds best on 2 channels btw). So, the gunshots have a well defined boom, and great clarity. Also, along with the xonar its possible to emulate 7.1 channel audio through Dolby 7.1 virtual shift...

Driving games, however, never sounded better. The roar of the engine usually sounds muffled at low volume and harsh at high volume, but not in this case, it sounds very much alive and kicking
