Default My worst choice, MAISHA ISP

I installed maisha ISP... 7 weeks ago

    It's freakin worst choice!!!!
(That time I didnt know well about ISP which i should use in Dhaka)

256Kbps Fiber cable (included Fiber Media Converter)

    5000~7000TK (can't remember well) - Installation fee
    1000TK - Monthly fee (-200tk for foreigner discount )

    They blocked P2P port...
I can run well CS 1.6 on game.zxonlinebd.com during night time, but not day time...day time lagging...
I can't run CSS on home.bdgaming.net, coz it gives +300ms ping...
    Sometime it disconnects itself...

And now game.zxonlinebd.com server is not working on my ISP...

I feel that 5000~7000TK installation fee is freakin bullshit even fiber line
    They took my money...:S

    Will u use maisha?

I plan to change ISP to SMILE... I want to play CSS

You can enable your p2p connection by using a proxy server.

ah that is sad, you should have done more research or opened a thread here for recommendations
neways there's not much left to do other than switching to a new ISP,consider:

    • BDCOM
    • SMILE
    • LINK3
    • BTCL

    1. if you want to play CSS @ BDGAMING...the first two is your clear choice
    2. if you are an avid downloader, LINK3 & BTCL is what you should be looking at

    good luck =)
& next time be more careful, prevention is better than cure

I've been using Maisha since 9 months or so , It's not really good for online gaming though but serves as a balance between dling and somtimes "satisfactory" online gaming. But the weird thing is, mine has P2P working 100 %

Thanks for sharing ur experience with us.

Looking at all of this, I'd like to ask the mods 2 create a worst ISP thread here.
So every1 can know wht is wht.

Just thinking aloud, LINK3 may not be interested to give new connections. they have done that in many areas including areas like Gulshan, Banani, etc.
