Default GeForce GTX 360 and 380 Benchmarks(True/False~You DECIDE)

GeForce GTX 360 and 380 Benchmarks
Do not ask us how or where these benchmarks source/originate from as we do not know. For all we care they are fake. However, a user in our forums posted screenshots of benchmarks from what seems to be a NVIDIA Slide Deck presentation. I can confirm that the layout and style is exactly what NVIDIA uses for it's presentations.
The slides reveal internal NVIDIA benchmarks of Far Cry 2, Resident Evil 5 and STALKER Clear Sky. Now this remains speculation, but if the numbers are right, then the future is looking bright and sunny for NVIDIA -- well if they get their pricing and TDP right that is.
Anyway, have a look and props go out to forum user "Memorian" for posting these in this GTX 300 series

    Souce:G3D

The title is pretty much of a contradiction, here are the benchies(apparently) for the GTX300 series, but not sure if these are actually credible or just mock-ups from nV

by the look of it, GTX380 aint that much fast over the 5970 & that too in its early stages where it is simple even bottlenecked from an [email protected] 3.75GHz & its drivers

    Games test:
    FC2, RE5 & Stalker Clear Sky
& to those who are thinking about the screenies, they are typical nV ones that show up once they hit a new card

NOW DONT BLAME ME IF THESE ARENT TRUE

But would you be surprised if it did beat the 5970? They are surely releasing their cards late enough, outperforming ATI is the least they can do.

Exactly, then why do you sound like such a non believer in your previous post? 380 can just as easily be a dual GPU single card.

I think this is fake. :zz:

5970 is not only beaten by GTX 380, but also GTX 360 in maximum cases. And both of them are single-gpu. I'll not be surprised if NVIDIA brings a dual-gpu card that beats 5970. But here we can see, even the GTX 360 beats the 5970. That won't happen I think. I think the performance of GTX 300 series will be something like this -

    GTX 360 > 5870,
    GTX 380 > 5890,
or may be GTX 380 = something around 5970.

What the hell are you talking about? They'd call it GTX 395 if that was the case.

If the 5970 is in its early stages then so is the GTX 380. And I actually think that a single gpu beating a dual-gpu card is amazing (kind of like the 5870 beating the 4870X2).

And that bottleneck you're talking about occurs with only a few games, so it's not like an i9 will magically cause its performance to skyrocket.

These slides are fake, a guy named successfultroll first edited and put these up on a forum, and for god knows what reason guru3d picked em up, i guess to generate hits

If youve seen previous nvidia/ati slides, you will see its fake. They always, always show relative performance in %, and never average fps. ever. Thats because its easy to dispute raw fps, as person x may exclaim that its fake cuz some card in that graph has a higher fps in his pc, etc etc. Hence, they show % numbers for all the cards, like the 58xx pre-launch slide if u remember

Why? They can easily change it you know, ATI did, so can they. ATI dropped the x2 and dedicated another number series for dual GPU solutions. Similarly nvidia can drop the XX5 name.

Not saying these are real, just saying it could've been.

I remember the "leaked" benchies for the HD 2000 cards showing them trumping the 8800 cards, and the reality turned out to be quite the opposite
