Default SMART TECH gets AMD distributorship in Bangladesh

One of the biggest importers of Computer hardware in Bangladesh SMART Technologies Ltd. has got AMD dealership for
Bangladesh. Kudos to Anas Bhai for taking such a bold step. All of the previous AMD distributors failed miserably but we hope Smart will make AMD processors and mainboards affordable for us all.

The products will start to arrive within 3 months time. Stay in touch for more updates about AMD processors.

We can also hope that this years WCG will be with AMD processors rather than with Pentium Dual core or Pentium 4 processors.

intel was better before athlon. amd was better before core 2. now intel is the best. however, this also doesn't mean intel will be best. we will see when the time comes.

anyways, i hope now people can get AMD new products fast enough and with PROPER price...unlike that stupid g-bal.

Well, when we get the AMD products, joss hobe. AMD is cheaper and better performance, how is Intel alive?

I am really amazed at the ignorance of most users here. Sorry guys Intel is without doubt the best now in Performance, Price, Power consumption and Popularity. However AMD is competitive in the lower end segment.

AMD vs Intel: They have gone back and forth in terms of performance over the past few years, no arguing here. Intel currently have the best performing processor, and they certainly firmly have the high end covered. However AMD are better at the mid and lower end simply due to their 780G chipset outperforming intel's G35 by 5x or more in terms of graphics. Nehalem might change that since the MC wouldnt be in the northbridge, which is mainly why AMD could squeeze a HD3200 on the northbridge.

Reason why i hate Intel is due to their anti-competitive policies, and honestly i didnt expect a company of their size and stature to do what they did(search google for more info). AMD have only had ~15-20% market share over the years but what they did with the Athlon 64(i still have mine running overclocked at 2.8ghz for 3.5 years running with ZERO problems) outperforming the horrible pentium 4 for 3 or so years was a tremendous achievement.

and about the 780G motherboard with the Phenom, currently most 780G motherboards do not support Phenoms above 9750BE, due to power regulation problems, since 9850BE have a 125W TDP, and 780G motherboards mostly have a 4 phase power. which processor was the motherboard running?

oh and is anyone into overclocking in these forums?
