    Question UPS Suggestion

    I am running 600W dedicated PSU and 21.5" Monitor. I need 1.5 to 2 hours backup.
    I will mostly do programming staff.

    Please suggest me a good UPS.

    A cost effective solution would be getting an IPS that can hold computer as well. For such long back up time, UPS batteries won't be good & will wear out quite quickly.

    For wattage estimation, mention your pc spec and name of software you intend to use .

    keeping a PC turned on for 1.5hours - 2 hours is pretty tough job. u can do one thing though get an IPS/ get an ups of 800VA and hook it up with a car battery.

    I guess IPS is the best idea in this case. I hard custom made IPS is good for this situation.

    Can someone tell me where I can make custom UPS?

    simple description

    PC : i7, 8gb ram, 2 TB HDD, 7770 GPU
    Software : mainly eclipse and some emulator (android, ios)

    Custom made IPS may not be able to handle the computer load. Get a ready made IPS that has computer mode. The one that can at least put out simulated sine wave.
