    Default Phenom X2 processor pin dented need suggestion

    My lil brother recently while trying to clean pc dropped his AMD Phenom processor and it got dented he is damn depressed abt it
    Can this be repaired ? if not will msi 760 series support a cheap fx4100 ?

    u need to heat up that dent pin & only then it can be safely straightened up. You probably don't have the req eqp so it's better to get it done by professional ppl.

    You may opt for mobile repair workshop for this job. They should be able to help you out with their hot air soldering station. good luck.
