Default Amd Fx 8350 heat issue

Um using fx 8350 and a gtx 760 when I play games like BF4 i can play ultra easily but my CPU fans makes weird motortype noise ...

Shall I go for a better cooler because I dont have AC in my room If so Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo will it be able to cut it ?

can you check the temperature of the CPU while gaming?

    also clean the CPU cooler.

Hyper 212 evo should be fine as long as u dont OC ur CPU.

nope. Hyper 212evo/412slim is not "PERFECT" for OCing. you can use any of them to reduce noise. AMD's cooling fan runs at a very high RPM causing a lot of noise, u can decrease that. but as we live in a hot country I dont think it will be wise to OC a 124W TDP processor with a cooler like hyper 212/412. still i think you can go up to 4.5GHz or something without any issue.

make sure u balance the amount of input air and output air

55c while gaming is very good temperature. u can try to run prime95 for a few min to see the max temp.anything below 65 degree is fine.

with evo/slim it was ok to overclock the sandy bridge at 4.5ghrz and ivy at 4.2/4.3ghrz . .and i dont know where you get that statement about evo 212 and slim but they are very much ok for oc'ing cpus and yes they are very much capable to oc the fx 8xxx as well

we are not talking abt a 95/77/84W TDP processor here. its a 124W TDP processor and evo 212 is obviously not PERFECT for ocing a CPU of that TDP. Although i added u can safely OC it to 4.5GHz

all i wanted to say if u want to hard oc then go for a better cooler. better than CM hyper 212.

afterall you have to say things in detail...and also it shows the hottest i7 980X's temperature to 85 which is a 130TDP processor and overclocked at 4.3ghrz and i dont think the cm evo is a bad cooler considering its price and performance Click image for larger version.
