Use AutoGK. Its the best software to rip dvd video.

Just select the first Vob file one. As if u have video_ts1_01,02,03 select the first one. All other will be selected at default.

    Heres the link

    For secondary use: E2160 OC @2.2Ghz| Gigabyte 945GCMX| 1.5GB DDR2| Thermaltake 400w| Intel GMA 950

    Default Re: DVD Rip

I think codec and file format select kora ta depend kore purpose er upore.

*For archiving purpose I use DivX converter that comes with the official DivX 7 Professional package. This is probably the only converter that gives option to keeps the original 5.1/7.1 channels in the audio track from Dolby/DTS DVDs. File size is also considerably small. Standard length movie 950MB with 5.1 channel audio or 650~700MB with stereo channel audio. Default (Home Theatre) preset retains same bit rate and resolution as the source DVD into the converted .avi file. The confiles are also quite portable as it can be played in windows mobile and most other portable players smoothly.

*For portable purpose I use PSP Video 9 that converts DVD into MPEG4 AVC to play in any portable player specially PSP. It retains same resolution as source but the bitrate is reduced to PSP standard which is still good enough for playback in a 32" screen without noticable crack. Creates a .mp4 file with a thumbnail which can be directly copied to PSP or other portable player and played directly. Best to make a universally portable file.

*To convert most video files to each other use WinX Video converter. DivX<>MOV<>MP4<>FLV<>MPEG<>WMP<>MP3. Best for quick conversion into a desired file format.
