Terror Blade (Soul Keeper)

Terror Blade is one of the most powerful late game hero in DotA, and probably the Ultimate pusher.

Usually we see, Heroes when they have red life are chased by other heros.
But with Terror Blade, its exactly opposite, its funny how Heroes with full HP runs away being chased by Terror Blade with red life

I agree initially Terror Blade is very weak so you have to be careful, its always a good idea to go for neutral creeps if you are being harrased.

So lets talk about Terror Blade here

no hard feelings, but if your opponent is well coordinated, you can never own with TB. he will be just a food. however, in a regular game, he's a dangerous late gamer.

If you were new to DotA, you would have thought that a TB will shine in a serious clan match. Fact of the matter is, a TB can only own in a serious match if pooling is allowed.

BTW, are you a member of WCG-BD forum who went by the nick darklord/lunar glint/radiant thunder.....?

Ok...no problem and no hard feelings...but I really want to see an expert player of TB against me and my team...You can come to Sniper...we can have alot of fun and get to know you and your team.. MAybe try CS and UT also...

A TB with manta and HoT or skadi and Hot is no child’s play guys. He is also gonna have at least Treads. It’s not a matter for him what kinds of a battle, like 2 vs. 1 or 3 vs. 1...... You are a food, just a food. But first he has got to get those core items, for that his team mates have to give him kill Steals, vanguard to neutral and chickens etc. that’s it. All he requires is a supportive team.

Many other heroes need these kinds of support. Like PL or Specter. They shine late game. When they shine? Well everybody knows when that happens.......

i usually prefer bashers with tb...helps a HUGE lot with his amazing AS.

BASHER FTW, Main. Last item would definitely be basher. But, you'd have to remember to make it/pick it up while you're in melee form to get 15% chance to bash even if you Morphed.

The Ideal TB build:
3 core items: BoT, Butterfly, Radi (can be replaced with Buriza)

1 group from here: HoT+Manta (only melee illus burn mana, Asslt as last item) or Skadi+Satanic (Only main hero slows, satanic as last item)

1 from here: Assault

It is possible get Morphed Illusions by using manta.
Illusions fully get:
-movement speed from BoT
-Evasion from Butter
-Tornado (Radi) from Radi
-Critical from Buriza
-all RAW stat boosts
-all RAW health/mana boosts
-mana burn (for melee illu)

These the items should not be on a TB (and usually any other Illu based hero) because Illus don't get all bonuses (exceptions apply):

Only HyperStone/Power Treads: waste of the AS as Illusions don't get the AS

Vlad: waste of Armor/LifeSteal/Damage Aura

MKB/Basher: Illus don't bash. they can ONLY prolong the bash if your main hero bashes first. however, IF one of them procs bash first, it will be a fake bash. Then even if your main hero bashes, it will just prolong the fake bash.

Diffusal/Manta: On any ranged hero : Range Images don't get mana burn ability

LifeSteal (Any kind of): Illus NEVER get life-steal

Deso: Only main hero gets the deso orb. not the images. can help a little when focus firing but Asslt is better.
Even though Illusions don't get ANY of the bonuses from Asslt, the -5 Armr Aura from the main hero better than Deso and it also helps the main hero unlike deso.

Manta is a waste. If you activate Manta while Metamorphed, the Metamorphosis stops and turns you into melee form, just like Dragon Knight. Basher is always the last item for TB. His illusions don't need to bash. Even in ranged form, he gets 15% chance to bash, just like troll, if he picks up the basher when in melee form (the oldest, unfixable bug in DotA/WCIII). i'm talking from experience, and experience trumps mathcraft.

Read posts properly and it wasn't mathcraft.

-hit the skill (meta, elder dk, wolf) and then manta fast (shift queuing ensures it, but also possible without shift q)

"illu and fake bash"
-Main hero can bash or prolong fake bash.
-illu can fake bash, prolong fake bash or prolong bash.
-all have same chance to proc
-1 main hero, 3+ (5+ when manta) illu



Basher and Illutions:

When Illusions proc bash-
-if the target wasn't bashed
->they do a fake bash (no damage, no bash, only the bash visual i.e. the whirl on top of head)
-if the target was bashed
->they prolong the bash (the ONLY helpful case)
-if the target was fake bashed
->they prolong the fake bash


When main hero proc bash-
-if the target wasn't bashed
->it bashes
-if the target was bashed
->it prolongs it
-if the target was fake bashed
->it prolongs the fake bash (really bad)



btw, I agree his illusions don't need to bash. but the problem is, they WILL bash but only fake bash. and then, when your hero (or illusions [more likely as they are in greater number]) bashes before that fake bash wears off, you'll do a fake bash.
If you are lucky enough to do the first bash with your main hero, gg for the target. even with range basher (10%), he'll most likely be perma-bashed.
but you have one main hero, and 3+ illusions. so the chances are, you'll start with a fake bash, and result in a fake perma-bash.
