Post Some Questions Regarding Sound Quality!!!

[FORGIVE MY NOOBNESS.STILL LEANING THE ROPES]I use Beats PRO headphones. Some Says they are いい but they are Good for music and for gaming it's OKAY.I did not buy it,got this as a gift.
So,I wanna get the best sound quality out of my pc.I use a Realtek HD sound card. When I bought my pc,the shop said that sound cards are Expensive for windows 7.And also they could not manage a single sound card for me.They said my pc sound will come from motherboards built in sound facillity or some いい like that.

When i came home i found that my pc has a Application REALKTEK HD AUDIO MANEGER.I also can plugin sound devices like headphones, speakers,in the back 3.5mm ports. So That defines that I have a sound card.

There my sound environment settings are at ROOM.
I have my own Equalizer settigs.
My default format is @24bits,192000Hz Studio Quality.
When i changes this eq,environment, bitrate settings,my main sound settings @control panel changes according to that.So Realtek HD audio maneger controls my pc's main sound settings.
What is Bitrate quality, like CD,DVD bitrates,hz.Please Explain.I wanna get the best outta my PC.
Again, sound quality is something that not everybody understands.

    @Taher furious
    nothing.
You should increase your budget to at-least 7-8k for a decent sound card. or you should search for a second hand one.

    1. first of all for driving headphone u will need a good headphone amplifier. Built-in sound cards do not(most of the time) come with headphone amplifier so the sound quality wont be that great. so you will need another sound card, one with a separate headphone amplifier section.
your motherboard has a ALC892 Realtek audio codec which is not bad either. but if u need real audio quality buy any Asus/Creative soundcard.

    2. bit rate is the number of bits carried in a certain time. and bits mean data. so more bits per second more data per second which will result in better quality.

    3. if u even have everything, u wont get good sound if u dont have better source. most mp3 files are 16bit 128-320Kbps so setting the sound card to 24 bit wont do much difference.

but if u work on audio software, like when i work with audition i use 32bit audio for intermediate level. then when finalized, i set it down to 16bit mp3 for saving space.

one more thing. your gadget says u have Intel DH61WW board. If u buy a sound card of x1 slot and install it, it will prevent u from installing a dual slot graphics card.

and if u have a dual slot card right now, u wont be able to use the x1 slot.

so u better look for a card which uses PCI16X slot.

this card has only two 3.5mm jack.rest are RCA jacks. color coding is not mandatory.
anyway spending this much money on this card is not worthy i guess(as ur target is only getting better quality audio from the headphone), better get something that will cost 7-8K.

first two white slots(marked in red) are PCI Express x1
three green marked slots are PCI Express X16, x4,x8.
you can interchange between them. like u can put a x1 card in any of these slots.

but but lower white slots are PCI 16X slot. u cant put pci express cards there.

Yeah maybe.A further explanation would be fine @redwan hasan

I Just buy a Sound card with 7k or 8k and Turn my pc on and uninstall the old card driver, software etc. Then turn my pc off.plug off the old card and put the new card where the old one was plugged. Then turn on the pc and install the new driver for the new card. Now this is what I think. If i have missed any important point please correct me.Please also state what i need to be aware of about PCI Express. বেশি টেক নি কাল হয়েন না।আমি এসব আবার ভাল বুঝি না। @redwan hasan

First 5 slots are PCI Express Slot.
And two lower slots are PCI slot. not PCI Express.
GPU is not only the PCI Express supported card. you can use Sound card, 10Gb Ethernet card and anything that supports PCI Express.
You cant put a x16 card in a x1 slot though they use the same technology but x16 cards wont fit in x1.
you can put a x16 card in x8/x4 they will run accordingly.

this is a PCI E x8 LAN card. u can put it in x4 and x16 too.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-NetEff...item1e7b3aaad4

lower white ports supports all kind of PCI cards. but wont support PCI Express card. u can simply tell that from their position. u cant push a pci e card on this coz this port starts from a bit different place.

uninstalling old drivers is not must,
just turn off ur machine, plug in the new card, install driver, restart, that would be all.

I believe that's ur board. u r already using the blue x16 slot. and 7770 is a dual slot card so i guess it has already covered the black PCI E x1 slot. so the only slot that is usable for u is the lower PCI 16X slot.

that means i knew wrong info all along.

correct me if i'm wrong about the following statements>>
    1. Buying a sound/lan/sata/fata card, I always have to double check whether it has pci or pciE (even if it has big port i cant be sure its pci).
    2. If it has a mini port then i can be absolutely sure its pciE x1 card. Which i can connect in either mini pciE slot or pciE x16 slot (also known as grafix card slot).

    1. yes. check the bus compatibility of this following products.
    http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_...specifications
    http://www.asus.com/us/Sound_Cards_a...specifications
    http://www.asus.com/us/Sound_Cards_a...specifications

    2. yes. if it is the smallest one, its the x1slot. x4 is slightly bigger than that one.

one more thing is, PCI runs at 33MHz where PCI Express runs at 100MHz so interchanging is not possible.

though the smallest one is x1 dont mix it up with mSATA slot

    - - - Updated - - -

plus check the "notch position" "length" "starting and ending point"
you will clearly see x1 is compatible with x16 but none of them is compatible with PCI ports.

Thanks teacher.I believe There's the old sound card plugged some where. If the GPU uses dual slot, and the sound card uses one slot, where is another empty slot?Or I will be able to uninstall the old sound card and install the existing one there depending on what slot it requires PCI E or PCI only etc.
