Default Help me to choose a Graphics Card

Hello everyone. I want to buy a Graphics Card. Currently I am thinking of buying Sapphire HD7870 OC 2G (Tk. 20,500.00) or Sapphire HD7850 OC 2G (Tk. 17,500.00). Now I want to know which one would be better to buy and if the price shown in UCC is accurate. Also if there are any other better alternatives within this price range, it will be greatly appropriated if you can suggest.

Also, suggest me a suitable motherboard within Tk. 5000 if available.

    My PC Configuration:

    Processor: Intel Core i5 2400 3.1 Ghz (2nd Generation)
    PSU: Thermaltake Smart SE 530W
    Ram: 4GB + 4GB DDR3
    Casing: Thermaltake Spacecarft VF-I

    Thanks in advance.

like this ^ guy said. if u think on purely gaming performance get nvidia GTX760/660Ti. or u can wait for the AMD's 200 series to show up.

and for mobo get a H61/B75 if u plan on using 1333MHz RAM.
or get a 67 if u want to use high speed RAM.

    for motherboard buy either Asus/Gigabyte.

Thanks for the information. may be i will wait few more days to see if it becomes available. however, i am interested to know that if r9 270x would be much better than HD 7870 OC; i am not much good at understanding graphics card performance.

that's what i am thinking too. because of budget, i was thinking of that, but may be i should increase the budget for motherboard. I do not want to replace my processor just yet, what would be a good motherboard if i plan to replace the processor few months later?

    BRO,@ Taher furious

    Where did you see 200$ r9 270x has beaten 250$ 660Ti ???

The comparisons show 660ti still superior than R9 270x.

People should stop blaming games for allegedly *copying* each other: "oh this game is Skyrim copy", "this game is WoW knock off", "this game is just another DMC" - enough!

On this rate every 3rd person action will be God of War, every 3rd p shooter Gears, every 1st will be CoD.. it's ridiculous. They are called genres people! And if you look carefully you'll see allot more than mimicry out there.
