Default PSU purchase guide needed....help please??

Hey guys...i am gonna have a Radeon 4890HD 1GB DDR5 this month - but my current PSU is 400W. As i see in reviews and forums 400W PSU is not efficient for radeon 4890HD cards....500W is needed. But the fact is - i am going to buy a Quad Core processor @ January.....so do i need a PSU of more capacity???........like 550W+ or maybe 650W???

Please help me guys....i need to know about the price of a 500W PSU - thermaltake or other brand....all i need is a dedicated Power Supply Capacity...

if anyone know any better option then the thermaltake brand....please share ur opinion...thanks....

(please let me know of any PSU with it's model and brand name with price and the place to purchase it....thanks again....)

You did not mention your budget, and are you going to get a whole new system along with the quad core cpu? If so, I recommend a TT Toughpower 600W PSU (BDT 10k, last time I checked).
It'll give you plenty of headroom for future upgrades (unless you go multi-gpu). Don't skimp on the PSU, it's an extremely vital part of your PC.
