the above picture shows the comparisons and the models that i want to buy (I WILL ONLY BUY ONE xD)
i need help from the gpu experts
hwcompare site shows that 660 is 35% superior than 650
    which i agree with too
but my **Budget for gpu is around 15k
    My reason is
**i want to buy a gpu that will last a long time in the coming years full of next gen and gpu whore games
    my processor is i5 2320 3GHz
    ram 2gb
    psu thermaltake 430watt litepower

I will upgrade the ram myself
=just need your expertise on will it run on my psu or not
=will it bottleneck on my processor or not
=and which one of them will be budget friendly for me, including that long time thing

P.S I'm new here, so any kind of suggestions are welcomed, but stay on topic please

@fAzIL p0lA has a nemesis now . @OP, if you're gonna stick to WXGA, 650ti is enough for the next 2~3 years. Unless ofc you upgrade to FHD or something.
My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.

i would suggest you to wait for a bit (probably till the end of nov. unless it very urgent for you to purchase) as R7 & R8 cards gonno launch tomorrow (you haven't mentioned any specific preference for nvidia; that's why suggesting amd).....if these cards performance turns out to be good in terms of price/performance.....you might get an R7 or R8 card (lets hope for the best) having a performance equivalent to or better than gtx660 probably at a lower/similar price....however i'm doubtful regarding fair pricing of the cards when these would be imported to BD...

another thing [email protected] your gonno get the 1gb variant of 650ti be (someone correct me if i'm wrong here abt the pricing)......it would be wise now to invest on a card with 2gb memory considering the fact that you want to use it for a long period of time....

even 1gb memory is more than enough for games unless you run a game in 3 monitor or in 1080p. .even gtx 650ti be is not capable that much for 720p+ resolution so 2gb is a waste for cards like this. .and the person already said he is searching for nvidia gpus

    sry missed the title...my bad.....
1gb is sufficient as of now....but same cannot be said for high texture games (open world games like gta V; hopefully it gets released soon..) which would be released later......specially if you consider gaming at 720p on those titles.....there could be chances of bottleneck due to limited memory...

lol who said you such things? Even in high resolution with maximum texture and AA . .maximum gpu wont even use full memory and 2gb is just a marketing gimmick and there is no chance of a bottleneck

By high resolution I'm assuming you mean 1080p and not higher. What game did play that ran perfectly fine with 1GB with maximum texture + AA? Do you know how much memory AA consumes?

For 1080p, 2GB is the minimum anyone should be getting right now. Saying 2GB is a gimmick means you haven't tried anything out recently.

actually i meant the highest possible resolution in 720p. .theoritically the 1366x768 which doesnt really need 2gb memory even if you maximize aa and other texture settings, indeed the higher resolution 1080p+ requires more memory . .and only game i saw the maximum useage of full memory in gpu is maxpayne 3 ,farcry 3 and hitman recent one. .anyway its my bad that i didnt wrote them with proper explanation

And also cards like 650ti be is still weak for 1080p and even in 2gb vram it will perform the same as 1gb version, the more memory aa and texture example is more suitable for cards like gtx 680/670 or 770/780

I would suggest the oshlil pola to wait for some time and increase his budget and get a gtx 760...as he has a 22inch monitor and he is aiming to keep it for a long time...the new gen games would be more gpu hog...and i dont think 650ti BE can handle those properly at 1080p...

and.. i know 650ti is kind of weak when comes to 1080p rendering
as i'm going to run it in 22" i guess 650 is no more in the option now
now i got to save some and wait till nov to let the prices drop
no hurry. as of now i'm kinda taking 760,660 and R7 on my note
    cant go over 18k

@sensei , when maxing out Battlefield 3 at 768p my video memory usage goes up to 1355 Megabyte, with a 1 GB Vram buffer this would certainly cause stutters. I'm leaving Crysis 2 out, as it uses 1.6 GB VRAM with uber texture updates.
