Default M.M.A gym locations in Dhaka?

M.M.A or mixed martial arts is one of most competitive sports in the world. It is. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . long story short, I wanna learn M.M.A to defend myself and my loved ones in the face of danger. I'm pretty short for an almost 16 year old and extremely vengeful in terms of physical dispute. So not that I hate to use the 'defend and skedaddle' way but wanna do the 'defend and retaliate' way when I'm outmatched. So brothers or cousins or friends or acquaintances of someone you know is active in MMA in any way please respond.

    • Where can I find a decend enough MMA gym in Dhaka to get initiated?
    • Can you post their contact info?
    • Any advice from the vet BGers?

P.S. Troll all you want but just don't ignore my plea if you know something

Kyokushinkai is full-contact and the conditioning techniques/exercises will be harder for a starter. Well, depends on the starter, though. However, are there good Kyokushinkai schools/teachers here? BD-r martial arts teacher gula jegula civilian der shikhai khubi diluted.

Once u get into a profession, all of this will go out of ur head.

Finally, MMA mone hoi DU gym e korai or sth.

I don't know if Monir bhai still teaches, he is one of the best in Asia Afaik, and there is Abdullah bhai and a few others, my elder brother used to be a Kyokushin student, I've seen him in action quite a few times few of the poor druggies he took on at night got the biggest scare of their lives! In my opinion full contact is indeed the way to go, they do train the trainees well enough despite their age to be able to cope with it.

First of all, if you wanna retaliate against someone out of hate, anger you don't need to learn MMA. Second of all, no I do not know any MMA gyms.

You can try Combat Gym at Shiddesshwari. They dont teach MMA, although the trainer Rumi bhai knows it.

They teach Krav Maga. And that is really effective. In fact a batch is going on right now.

About Krav maga, it is more effective than any competitive and stylish or show off martial arts. Its ugly its nasty and its dirty. There is no rules there is no right ways. And does not take 2 years to learn the basics. It teaches knife and gun defenses. teaches CQB. One of the core training in krav maga is taking on multiple opponents. As it is crucial in real life situations. You will not learn anything that is not effective on the street.

I would highly recommend doing this.

Batch 4 is going on https://www.facebook.com/events/218851414941416/?ref=22

BTW Rumi bhai is a certified TKM instructor you can check it on the international Tactical Krav Maga site.

Kyokushinkai? Is it only defensive? I was thinking about kickboxing based 'muay thai'. Or do I need to go thailand for that? I'll wiki a lil later.

How can full contact Karate be "defensive" do your god damn research, frankly speaking, with your mindset, by learning Karate all you'll do is bring people harm. -_-

Rumi also has/had a ETV tv slot for health and fitness; along with his wife. This gent is distant cousin of my old school friend. He also has training in TAE KWON DO.

@avas911 , +1 for Krav Maga suggestion. Mostly grappling in that style, probably favored by MOSSAD.
