Tell me one thing, why didn't you had the warranty period written on the money receipt . . -_- . . . You really were expecting 1 year replacement on just verbal promise? That wasn't too rational of a decision to make if you ask me. Could have saved a lot of time and energy there if only you had the warranty period written.

PS - The thread should be on the misc section and @aayman can you take good care of the spammer on top of me?

^that. A retailer once owed 1k to me cause his calculator or his brain wasn't working properly ATM. They phoned me later and I thought I could get away with it. But my morale got in the way and I paid them. They said I wouldn't need any physical proof, they're the 'good guys'. Needless to say, I didn't give a $hit to what those greedy cunts and had it with me. My story, while somewhat contrary to above I've posted because in today's world where every flock of birds follow a simple motto: "Nothing personal. It's just business" you can't trust anyone who wants your money. So precaution is a must. So,

    • Always take your invoice. Take two if you can pursuade them by making some lame story.
    • Computer printout is better I think. But a physical presence e.g. signature is a must.
    • If your invoice doesn't state any warranty, make them to write it personally with another lil sign.
    • If they mail or call you about the product, don't delete em. Preserve them. Who knows, right?
My probable next build: Qisan MagicForce 68 (Outemu switch) / Teamwolf Zhuque+ 87 TKL (Outemu) / Monoprice Select series full size (Outemu/Gateron) / Drevo Gramr 84 TKL (Outemu) • Logitech G102 Prodigy • Deepcool Dukase V3 / Thermaltake Versa U21 • Superlux HD 681 • Creative Sound Blaster E1 • LG 22MP68VQ • SteelSeries QcK • Generic executive chair • others TBA

djrock please don't bother me. You are in my ignore list so I don't have to see literal poop.

NEWMAN does NOT and NEVER HAD any warranty policy. What the shopkeepers say are jsut gimmick and not official, basically some shops provide free servicing, that's it. NOT AN OFFICIAL REPLACEMENT WARRANTY.

Everyone please always write down the warranty in the invoice if it is not written. I always do. And this saves a lot of hassles.

@Rajmi hmm... i am kinda shocked to hear ur story especially cause of tech hill. i know that place somewhat well. don't know the owner very well cause he isn't always around but the sales people are ok. i used to buy comp related stuff from there.

and i get what rk7 and avas911 are talking about, but believe me, i too don't make them write warranty on money receipts. i know i should but somehow just don't. but like they said, it would have saved a lot of hassle for u.

i bought the newmen e370 i had from vertex computer. another good shop i think. my one got broken within 5 days. kb wouldn't work though backlight was fine. got an immediate replacement. shopkeeper told me there was a six month replacement warranty on the kbs.

as an OT, has anyone tried the genius backlit keyboard costing 3200tk. here is the link https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...4180360&type=1
