    Default Re: System Properties Problem

INTEL SPEEDSTEP...a power saving feature used by Intel CPUs to clock down their speeds to reduce power consumption when it is sitting idle

launch up an heavy app...like a game/anti irus & u should see CPU-Z reporting 2.00GHz(default) when running those apps...the cpu u'd jump up to full speed & then again clock down when it will be idle

there is nothing to worry about...it is a good approach since u r using a laptop...the speedstep also reduces heat emission since the CPU is now using less power compared to what it u'd have been using under full speed
