    Default 9-11-01 Rememberence

    It's 9/11 folks

The day was a fine glorious morn for the yankees. The daily hustle and bustle of NYC can be matched by none other. People getting on the crampy subs to find their usual spots and steeling the resolve to overcome any §hit life throws at them, bad guys planning to do bad things and frankly the cops to stop them hampering the daily american lives ; kids, parents, siblings, cuzs just having a quality family time, businessmen grinning like chashire cats thinking the pleasure they will inflict upon their soul-mates after nailing the darn deal, students pacing at light speed to reach their schools and colleges in time, unemployeds baking their a§§es to try get a shot, mature couples basking in the morning delight and some, well they can't just start a day without a sip of sin can they. But unbeknownst to them, something far greater, lethal destruction was reaching its final phase. This is the day the world really died. This is the day a cobweb of dreams shattered. This is 9/11

    - - - Updated - - -

Share your rememberence of that unfateful day, share your inner-most heart-breaking losses, share YOUR 9/11.

    Kaienpaibam over and out. :salute:

Once I read in the Chutir Dine magazine that there was a Bangladeshi couple working there. And one of them called at Bangladesh when he understood it was going to be the end and suddenly the line got cut.

I am not questioning the fact that you dont remember anything, just saying that you are 12 years old (16 years that is, hope I am right) . Heck even my memory is a bit hazy. Only thing that I remember clearly is that my dad was watching BBC and I was on the sofa next to him and BOOM ! Live feed of a tall building crashing down. It was crazy even though I was watching through a TV.

All forgiven The only thing I remember is my mother frantically trying to contact my uncles who were in quebeck*(?). And someone blurry faced(prolly papa) flipping through ETV and BTV*(?) for news at my mamma's request all night long. To get an idea of my §hitty memory, the first ?-mark is an assumption considering later I learnt that they lived there ATM. The 2nd one considering we only had ETV and BTV before getting dish service and my §hitty sub-concious mind can't even remember my dad's face. So, yeah. I remember §hit.

jaihok it is not inside job. it is not acting intentionally when you know you will be attacked so that you can wage a war. There is subtle difference and i would say bush is quite smart in this case. very smaart.

maybe it's an insider job, maybe it's done by the Mossad, atta was brainwashed by mossads in alqaeda cell, or maybe it was some crazy ol' arab doing crazy ol' stuff.

but it's 9/11. lets not spend it thinking about who did it, instead, lets just spend the time mourning to the deaths that were the result of some evil plot. Innalillah. They were innocent.

i know oneke mara gese, and we all feel sad for the innocent lives that were lost on that day.

BUT no matter how many people died or people of which race or religion you just can't deny the fact it was an inside job by the US government, anyone who still has ANY doubt that it wasn't carried out by the US government needs to get his facts right.

Just dont take any bias, see the evidences for yourself and if you still think that it was carried out by "the mighty" and "sophisticated" al qaeda ,then I dont have anything to say...

if you want to make inside job connections, you can make it with anything. Like Dr. Yunus got his nobel prize because US said so. Dr Yunus is a puppet of US. He is not talented to get Nobel Prize. He only got it because US wants to use him to control BD. Bla bla.

Now some day I will also hear Pearl Harbor was an inside job. So that US can go into war with Japan & Germany. Bla bla.

You guys give US too much credit. US is not that smart to plan everything. All Hail the all Powerful and all planning US. Rofl.

lol nobody is saying US is innocent. US ultimately is creator of many evils. No superpower or big power is innocent. Look at Russia or China or even India. But to tie everything to conspiracy theory is futile.

You are gonna say insurance story ? Well every building in Manhattan is insured to trillions of dollars. And insurance is renewed quite frequently in US. Doesnt mean a conspiracy is taking place.

I was in class 7 that year.

My family and I were shocked when we saw the reports/images coming in.

We've been in the states for about 10 years and the WTC's where distinct landmarks in our memory.
Even a month ago my mother showed me a picture of her holding me as a baby on the observation deck of one of the towers (don't recall any other details).

At the time, my Khala's were in New York, and not only were we getting live images on T.V, our relatives were giving us real updates as to what they
could see. All of New York could see the smoke that day.

When the Towers fell, we were all deeply saddened. My vocabulary is limited, so its hard to exactly describe my feelings.
For the next couple of days, I would come home from school and keep watching the news for updates regarding the situation.

Regardless of the conspiracies and motives behind the attack, the casualties that occurred were REAL.

The towers were call the World Trade Centers, people from all around the world have lost their lives.

What really bothered me is that this tragic event happened right at the turn of the New Millennium, we had just celebrated Y2K a year back,
and now the whole world had to witness such an unnecessary loss of life.

Many movies had depicted Utopian futures where everyone loved and respected each other regardless of race, class, religion, gender.
However, our version of the future began with a decade+ full of violence, hate, deaths.

There's not more that I can say. My condolences go out to anyone who had lost relatives in the 9/11 events.

besides, you believe what you want to believe. no one should mock you for that. but don't laugh at other peoples opinion , it just shows something/someone has fondled with your thought process. in this case that will be the govt run media.
