OT: I appreciate your desire to help the fellow gamers. But the thing is, if anyone wants to import your specified SSD from Amazon using Amazon.co.bd or USA BD Shop or Ebay Shop.BD , it would cost him only Tk. 9854, Tk. 9878 or Tk. 9620 respectively. By the way, these are some BD facebook groups who help (though their asking rate per dollar or pound is pretty steep) people to bring goods from abroad. I strongly suggest you to refine your asking price for that SSD, that might help us to opt for it.

Where is the exact link for those prices ? Can I see them?

In most cases, these are products from Bangkok or Hong Kong. The quality of same product in US vs the quality of products imported from Thailand, Malaysia or Hong Kong is not same.

    - - - Updated - - -

hmmm those sites also add shipping weight cost, which will amount to 1000 anyways additional. Plus the hassle they might have. I dont do this kind of trading normally. So you can rely on me on bringing good stuffs.

Anyways 10,000 diye anar maane hoy na. I mean I am not huge volume sellers like the link you provided. Ora margin kom rakhleo paare karon aita oder business. Volume ache.

Their rates are stated at the about tab in those facebook groups. Please visit the links I specified in my previous post.

If you wanted to see the calculations, here you go

    Amazon.co.bd : ($90.99 + $4.99 shipping) * 100 Taka per US Dollar + 6.4 ounces * 640tk per pound carrying cost = Tk. 9854

    USA BD Shop : ($90.99 + $4.99 shipping) * 99 Taka per US Dollar + 6.4 ounces * 700tk per pound carrying cost = Tk. 9878

    Ebay Shop.BD : ($90.99 + $4.99 shipping) * 99 Taka per US Dollar + 6.4 ounces * 650tk per Kg carrying cost = Tk. 9620

N.B: Before finalizing your calculation, convert each unit to similar unit system (i.e. ounce to pound and ounce to Kg).

Yes, I know this. But I specified the Amazon USA link and they will buy that exact product from that exact link.

are you sure they buy that from exact same link ? I have my doubts. There are so many complaints in that facebook group also.

Anyways I wont be able to sell it at that price. I can go for 11,500 at most if I can manage to sell at least a couple of them here.

Maybe I will close this thread then if I cannot sell.

I have my doubts they buy it from USA or UK. Their quoted price and shipping sounds very similar to shipping from HK or Malaysia. Shipping sth from USA or UK back to BD is not that cheap. Even for commercial rates. If you dont believe, try a 1 kg package quote from UPS or Fedex from US to BD and see the quoted price. And I doubt they have luggage party coming from US or UK every two or four weeks.

They use bulk shipping. There are companies who provide these services. Maybe 100$ for 30kgs. This amount is not exact as I have seen that a long time ago.

Interesting part of these services are. they are really cheap although they take a long time to arrive. also they usually clear customs too. sometimes with bribes.

so the user does not face any hassle.

Price reduced to BDT 11,000 but I will only bring if I get at least 3 solid orders. And similar to facebook group now since everybody is pleased with them and comparing me with them, I will take 50% advance fee now (refundable unlike them if I cannot bring your item). Previously I thought I will take money when I will hand over the product but it seems I have to be like the facebook groups now.

If you feel you are getting good bargain from the facebook groups, then please buy from them. I am not here to do business like them. I am sending monthly money to my parents and I thought I can give them some more money if I can sell these. It is totally optional for me.

But I can assure you I will sell you something that I will personally buy from newegg or amazon for my own computer.

Even if you want to ship using USPS (public post office in US) for 3 pound/1.5kg stuff, they charge $40 to Bangladesh. For commercial rates, I am assuming $10 at least. I have serious doubts about the shipping pricing as it doesnt match reality otherwise there would have been massive trade of electronic products from US and UK by now at these prices. The economics dont add up. I am sure they are either shipping from Hong Kong or they are buying open box, refurbished or returned items instead of brand new and repackaging them and sell them as brand new. I can sell you reburbished item at 9000 taka and it will look brand new. You wont even know it. But I wont do it because I am not a regular businessman like them.

it takes just 10 dollar/kilo from USA and 4 pound/kilo from UK through some cargo services. whereas public post offices charge a lot higher. i am just informing. no intention to harm you.

Yes, of course. But if you need to enter the promo codes (specially for Newegg) to get the discounts, don't forget reminding them to do that.

They used to charge a lot more before. But recently they have reduced their charges because of the strengthening of Taka against US Dollar and Pound and also because of the increase in competition of providing such services.

I can sell 840 Pro 128GB at 13,000 as the price difference is not much. But i need at least a couple of orders. Look I am not a bulk trader. If I had a warehouse, I could buy them at lower prices directly from Samsung and sell them at 10,000.

This is final offer. I dont have time for this.

I am tired of people comparing my services to amazon.com.bd. People seem to be happy buying from businessmen selling used or reburbished products at brand new prices. I can sell you 840 Pro used in brand new packaging at 13,200 also. You want it ? You wont even know the difference as you wont buy them personally from US. This is the thing you will get from me. Reliabile source. But if you would like to purchase so called brand new (but actually refurbished or used) SSD pro at 13,200, let me know. I will be more than happy to sell you at 13,200 because I can make a lot more money.
