Default HELP,need information about engineering in private universities

Which private universities nearby Mohammadpur are good for engineering? I heard United International University,ULAB,University of Asia Pacific are the best ones. But confused which tops among these. Can anyone tell me about these institutes if you are studying there or heard from anyone.

Finally I saw this site www.iebbd.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=117&Itemid=95 .I heard you cant write 'engineer' in your name if your university's subjects isnt accredited by IEB.They only accredited some universities. What about others, are all of them and not worthy?

In my opinion, education is a huge investment in life. So why not carefully invest in a better university (i.e. public engg. universities, IUT, MIST, Brac, AIUB, NSU, AUST, EWU etc.) for a better degree in order to achieve better profitability in future? Though it is only my personal opinion.

Yes, if you want to legally write engineer in your name, your subject (more specifically, that exact subject from that exact university) should be accredited by IEB. N.B: I am a member of IEB.

List of Accredited Universities by IEB.

He should better stay away from World University (I am not sure about other universities, you mentioned) if he wants to really learn the subjects other than achieving a mere paper certificate. Many of my friends and juniors are working there as lecturer, so I am informed about the situation. Even I was a lecturer in a so called private university. Please don't ask me about education quality and marking system.

Yes, if you want to legally write engineer in your name, your subject (more specifically, that exact subject from that exact university) should be accredited by IEB. As far as I remember, NSU got only two subjects accredited by IEB, only EEE of Brac University got accredited by IEB, only one subject (forgot its name) of SEU is accredited by IEB, the case is same with other OLD private universities. N.B: I am a member of IEB.

Please note, this post is all about my personal opinion and no offense meant to anyone.

Is the situation at World University very bad?Once my teacher told me that someone who wants to go in research has to learn most of the things on his own,the teachers here helps barely,he studied in Dhaka University in Chemistry and became 1st.Is it true?

Also his grades are low for admission in famous ones.I mean you know about all these, let me know please.

    Well said.

Actually I edited my posts only to clear the name of that specific university. They are just using cost leadership strategy. I can not blame them much considering the highly competitive education business in our country.
