Question My Desktop will run (24x7)hours...Will it be a problem...??

Here is the thing...I am using right now i5-650, Thermaltake LitePower 330W, Appolo 800Va UPS....I usually run my pc 24x7 hours, unless load-shedding appears or anything bad happen to the electricity...

Now I am going to buy i7-4770k and Thermaltake Smart 850W. UPS will be the same. As the processor is the k series, i am going to overclock my processor speed. For the processor cooling I'll use Liquid Cooling system, most probably Cooler Master Seidon 120M or Corsair Hydro H80i....Now I'm little bit tensed. Bucause it'll be a overclocked processor. So will it be safe to run that pc 24x7 hours or is there any problem....??

    Thank you in advance....

    IMO, don't use that UPS.
and..as for running it 24x7, NO, wouldn't effect the computer. your system would be off during load-shedding anyways...so, it'll have "rest time".
when god created me, he was just showing off..!!!

Use at least 1200VA ups.. And Intel produces many series (e.g X series are more reliable for overclocking!)... But the thing is, which one u need.. If u can't utilize the stock speed, why should u go for overclock, besides it will require everything high (e.g Cooler, mobo, case, Psu everything!)..
Well, if u hav so much curiosity on that, then u may go for it..
    Why so Serious!

I have been running pc for about 7 years 24x7 and I haven't actually got any problem once.....
Actually the more you keep your pc active the more better it will perform.

what would be the justifiable logic behind this ?

It's rather the more you use your system the faster it depreciates.

u r correct in a broad sense but if minor OC is done properly (staying in range with intel specified voltage, temp, freq range mentioned in datasheet) it shouldn't cause any major problem assuming a decent quality PSU is in place.

Actually I have seen some systems go down for not using them regularly and for me running 24x7 for these years have been really satisfactory compared to others. So no justification, just observation.

And also I meant for regular normal use. and ofcourse running OC'ed 24x7 is not desirable even it is stable.

This, even then it's going to be fine. This is not Bulldozer or Sandy Bridge-E. Besides there are overclocked rigs folding everyday 24/7 and that is 100% load and yet these PCs run strong. If your overclock is stable and well within temperatures, you are good to go.

after all this pc is used by uchiha obito who is now in so6p state with one mangekyo sharingan and rinnegan well jokes a side, your pc may work good for you but not for everyone and this is not a practical theory about fast pc as well, like my friend once tested 1month non stop 24x7 x 31 days and his mobo was burnt so you are lucky

So will it be safe to run that pc 24x7 hours or is there any problem....??

i am really not sure but what in this world make you to run your pc for 24x7? Dont know the purpose but like every human, even machines needs rest as well run your pc 20x7 at least give 4 hours rest and that should be ok, and the matter of overclocking, this is useless if you overclock the processor when it is in idle state or in general works, in game or in video converting or compressing files do the overclock thing and in general state its better to run your pc in stock

I'm running mine at stock currently, besides I don't have a good cooler for overclocking. Using the stock Intel cooler which is very crappy. But yes if it' stable then you are fine. You need good quality components though, like motherboard and powersupply, these two will play a crucial role in keeping system stability. Don't cheap out on them.
